Larry lights are fabtastic!
I love the Larry lights. They are well made and do ehen job you need them for. The plight they produce id's very white and does not effect the colors of what they illuminate. And Larry lights do give a lot of light that floods the space around you. Even on the low light mode, there is lots of light. We have started using them on camping trips instead of a lantern. It is way smaller and more battery efficient. The magnet pin the tail end is powerful and keeps the light in place pin an iron surface. I do wish there was alanyard for carrying out around. I am a power wheelchair user and use it as a headlight and would love to be able to tether out pin the chair, poor wear it on my wrist to keep me from dropping it. (I have dropped it several times from a sitting position to a cement street, only a small ding to the beautiful red finish, but not damage tho the light itself. The small keychain light that is included is fantastic. It is super bright for such a tiny light. What I like best about it is out has a tiny switch to keep it on of needed. This is the first tiny key chain light I have seen with a "keep on" switch. Nice job, Nitecore!

This light is great however the magnet on the base is broken
This light is great however the magnet on the base is broken. Is there a way to replace the magnet on the base?

Bright light for my Fire Gear
Love these lights. Very bright. I wish they had a loop at the top to hang the light from my Firefighting Gear. I ended up shaping a coat hanger around it and formed a top loop with a little electrical tape to dress it up so I could hang it from the hook on the chest of my bunker gear coat. I like that it provides a broad flood type light that fills the area. I also carry the smaller version in my uniform all the time for EMS calls. It is fantastic for taking vital signs dark homes or outside at night.

This is my 3rd Big Larry, and it's not ...
This is my 3rd Big Larry, and it's not a replacement. They all work flawlessly even after a few years of use. This is a very friendly light with a magnetic base, 3 settings - Dang I can't see anymore, step down power/lumens, and flashing red. This model is not rechargeable, it uses 3 AA batteries and they seem to last forever.Oh, and the kids appreciated their new keychain light!

Lots of light for a small package
This is the third one that I have bought, as I need it at different times and places. It's magnet to attach to metal makes it an invaluable emergency light for your automobile. It puts out the most powerful light that I have ever seen in such a small package. These factors, as well as the extremely tough flashlight body make it the best seen to date.

I wish it was cheaper... but it's still a great light
I think it should be closer to 12 or 15 dollars, but I do like the Big Larry and this is my fourth one. (gifts and give aways when people admire mine)

Larry wins my vote!
Don't know what else to say other than DAMN! The magnet supports it well handing at 90 degrees for a great down light flood. The high setting borders on almost to high (note I said almost) the low setting is great. The holster holds the light well. The small key fob light is now on my key ring as a staple.
