About three years ago, I bought a case for my new GS5 that was like a rubber glove, and then a hard shell that snapped onto the outside. At first I thought to myself, that will do it! You see, I'm rough on devices. They die horrible deaths in my possession. Toilets, frozen solid, two story drops onto concrete, and a long story ending in a drop kick that was worthy of the NFL. .So after eating the bill for a six hundred dollar phone, I decided to make SURE that all devices from then on would be protected. I would not even take them out of the box until I had a case and a ballistic shield to go on the new phone. Well the rubber was really soft, and it would roll off when I yanked it out of my pocket. I did not like it. That was it for me and any "layered" cover. I ended up with a FANTASTIC CASE. I can't mention the name, but I can tell you that when I traded my phone in, it was in MINT condition. Absolutely FLAWLESS. You should have seen the glimmer of greed as the tech snatched that 5 up! Anyway, I got this one for my wife's J3. She picked it out, liked the color..when it arrived, I put it on her phone and I was immediately impressed! Seriously. The outer case feels like Kevlar. Scratch resistant. And the rubber was melded on the inside. The case takes the hard hit, and the inner padding keeps the shock from knocking your phone's brains out...(that's what happened to the drop kicked one) also, a little hard rubber on the corners.... Yep, it is a good one. She was happy. So, when I traded my GS5 for the new.$900 GS7 I put one of these J&D's on there. Mine's battleship grey. Very pleased.

This is the 4th time I have ordered this. I have had one on my phone for 2 years....my phone is in perfect condition because of it. Got one for my husband 2 years ago....he is painting contractor and destroys phones. Thanks to this cover he has not killed his phone. He did after 2 years kind of destroy the case...so I just bought him a new one I also purchased one for my Dad a year ago. His phone is in perfect condition. It is rubberized base and absorbs any shock if dropped. I cannot recommend this product enough!

This is a very inexpensive case for the money. I bought it because I needed one and my phone is old. Didn't want to put a lot of money into a new case if my phones dies.

Easy installation, good fit, ok price. I work in emergency services, mostly outside come rain or shine. Just received this and have not had the chance to use it in working conditions. I've gone through of cells due to some rough treatment, we'll see how this goes.

I love the blue mixed with the black. And do not worry grandmas, on the power button, they have the word "Power" and "+ -" for the volume. It's very durable. It fits snug, so it won't slide out of the case. For the amount you are paying for, you get a pretty decent product. 10/10 would buy again.

It fits well and looks nice. My only issue with it is that you have to press down quite hard on the power button to turn the phone on, likewise if you want to change the volume

This was for my son. He seems to be pretty satisfied with it...I think the outer shell is a bit difficult to remove but I guess in this case that's good since my son is 13.

This case has a very good finish and feel to it, the buttons work as if the phone was designed for it. The power opening is a little narrow so you need a USB plug with a thin jacket (the factory one works fine). I was able to remove the the outside hard plastic to slip in a thin metal plate for a magnetic mount for my dashboard. It fits perfectly on my J3 (2016).
