Half decent guitar, but the accessories are crap
Well, I didn't have to buy this, as it was a surprise present, but I will tell you this: Right out of the box the pitch pipe was broken, the strap is a piece of garbage, and the bag offers little dent protection (although it is very lightweight compared to other cheap bags). The strings are trash and the prestrung set broke within the week (Im now using martin custom light phospher broze, and they work fine), Finally, the way they painted almost the entire guitar makes me question the quality of the wood. The strings are spaced very wide, (good for beginners who may otherwise have trouble with spacing fingers in chords, bad for people with smaller hands), and the action is very tight, with little give (something that may frustrate beginners who want to learn barre chords etc.) on the upside, the guitar has a half decent tone (a little twangy and bright for my taste, but my friends like it) and it has taken more than one bump/drop (baby cousins :p) like a pro, with only one barely noticeable dent, the truss rod feels like it can take a beating as well. Overall, don't buy retail $200! If you're buying for yourself as somebody new to guitar look into something with a little more reputation (spend the extra $50, it is worth it) if you want to go cheaper, or are buying for somebody who may have an interest in guitar, go for it, if you want it, you'll probably ignore this anyway

Great guitar packed with garbage
i got this as a gift about 6 months ago. It's a great little guitar but the other stuff in the pack was garbage. The gig bag is to this. The picks bend easily and the tuner isn't even decent. This is my go to guitar though and I love it. I'd recommend it to anyone regardless of playing history.
