Low Cost Silver Epoxy, Electrically Conductive Adhesive, EMI RFI Sheilding System, Electro-Bond 06, 2.5gm Pouch(s)

Not the solution I was hoping for.
This is an electrically conductive epoxy which I used to reconnect the metal electrical lead to the rear window defroster glass on my 2007 Suburban. Many of the Chevy forums talk about the dealerships wanting to replace the rear glass, or a few of them using a super-sized soldering iron to solder it back on using silver based solder. No BS-ing around with this stuff. I mixed it, squeezed some on the metal contact and put it in place on the glass. Used a little duct tape to hold it there. 24 hours later it's ready. Ohm meter across the defroster grid read near zero impedance. I tested the bod and it felt solid, and later got to test it by using the defroster, which worked normally. Simple, effective, inexpensive. But.......Fast forward 3 weeks and the wire fell off with the contact still attached. The epoxy failed. I was able to flake off the epoxy with my fingers- it was quite brittle. To be fair, I applied the product at a temperature near the lower end of the application temperature range. Still, I let it dry for days knowing the cure time is longer at lower temperatures. I'm pretty disappointed because I thought I was done with this repair, and winter is coming.
