The Beach House (The Kissing Booth)

This is a sequel to the Neflix book-turned-movie "The Kissing Booth". I, however, have never seen the movie or read the book, but the summary/plot of this short story made me want to check this out, and it was at a cheap price.Taking place after the events of the book/movie, Elle and her best friend, Lee, and his brother/Elle's new boyfriend Noah are heading to their usual summer vacation spot: Lee/Noah's family's beach house. But is this the summer things might get weird now that Noah and Elle are dating?I could see the appeal of this book for fans of "The Kissing Booth", but it also is good as a stand alone story and not very hard to follow. Readers should at least know what the prior book is about first (skimming the summary works) before reading this one, but it might make you want to go back and at least watch the Netflix movie.

This novella was just unnecessary. I liked it because it does have the characters I love from the Kissing Booth but nothing really happens. It was boring and even though it was short it felt like it took forever to read. There was no real conflict or plot. Just a regular summer trip, hanging out at the beach. I expected at least a little more to add to Noah and Elle's story. It was pretty much the same info from the end of The Kissing Booth. You can easily skip over this one and go straight to book two.

Story was too short for it to be really good. Don't feel like there's any real content. Quick and easy read though.

Beth Reekles has done it again! I absolutely adored The Kissing Booth and The Beach House is a delightful novella! I am so excited for The Kissing Booth sequel and The Beach House helped tide me over until the next book releases! Woo hoo!

This could have been a nice summer adventure for the couple, to help the characters develop their relationship. This was a nothing burger. Not even sure why it was published, this is very incomplete.

Wow is all I want to say. Glad to have been able to live that last trip to the beach house and get that understanding of how life changes once we grow up.

Wish it was longer currently waiting on tkb3 and I can't get enough. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to make it a series and let it draw out longer. but the books will have to do, Great job beth! I'm 26 with a 1 and 2 yr old. reading this is my getaway.

3.5 stars. Cute and fun story about the annual summer beach trip with Elle and the Flynn boys (Noah and Lee) and how some things are changing, but others stay the same

A really nice short story to check in on the couple and best friends of the kissing booth series. A few laughs and the emotional struggles that elle has, with a sneek peek at the end of going the distance.

What beautiful little insight into loving times of Noah and Elle. I especially love the insight into lee and Elle changing friendship.

I loved the kissing booth movie and book and I loved this. Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel are all here on holiday with Mr and Mrs Flynn.

I loved reading this. It only took one sitting. If you watch the movies this helps you to understand the plot better and really connect with the characters
