Extang eMax Tonno Soft Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | 72405 | Fits 2009-14 Ford F150 5' 7" Bed (67")

The Tonneau Cover is excellent quality and value. It was extremely easy to assemble and install. The only 3 negatives (to which I rated 4 stars instead of 5) are -- 1) The front edge (nearest cab) of the cover does not seal along the center 8/10ths of the truck box. I contacted Extang and they admitted that the design doesn not seal this area and leaves a 1/2" gap this entire width. I had to supply my own sealing foam. The cover was the correct cover according to Extang website (2014MY Ford F150 Supercrew, 5 1/2' box). 2) the clips that stow the prop-rods while not in use are pliable metal that do not hold the rods securely unless you reform them every time you remove the rods for use. I contacted Extang and they admitted this fact and until a redesign of the "clips" occur, this is the best they can do 3) the rear-most clamps that hold the cover to the box (the spring pull down clamps) are (in my estimate) too far forward and could stand to be relocated rearward half the distance to the back end. I contacted Extang and they said I could move them if I wanted to -- however, they felt they were in the correct location. It wasn't clear to me if I did move them if I voided warranty so I am leaving them where they are. My thought is they would hold the last (most rearward) section tighter to the truck box if relocated rearward. Overall, I am very pleased with Extang products and am most pleased that they are designed and manufactured here in Michigan ....... I would definitely recommend this product to others. Just beware to purchase additional sealing foam for the front edge.

I put this on my 2011 F-150 Lariat 4-Door SuperCrew. Installation was super easy, and I love the cover easily folds up to access anything that is closer to the cab. It looks great, and works great.I haven't noticed a wet bed even after going through a carwash.Only downfall was my bed has a Ford Installed Drop-In bed-liner.The tailgate has a cover and the cover goes up and over the top edge of the tailgate. It is a small amount too short for height, but still like it. Bu that's another review.Big plus for me on this Tonneau Cover, is Extag covers are put together in Ann Arbor, Michigan, especially good, since I live in Michigan also.Great cover and great job guys keeping it inside the USA!!!

the other reviews are correct - expect a small gap at the cab end of the bed. it's easily filled with a strip of insulation. this cover has been weather proof thus far but the material does not smooth out over time. mines still as wrinkled as the day it was installed. this is a function over form product that doesn't look great but works. the material is pretty thin so I wouldn't consider it a theft deterrent. minus a star for quality of the vinyl, otherwise a solid product. I had to have Amazon ship me a second one because the first one was badly damaged by FedEx.

I rarely read instructions and plunged right into the installation without them. It turns out you really do need to read and follow the instructions. The cover went on easily and has the kind of thoughtful features that mature products do. We've have a few strong rains and snows since I installed it and my bed is dry. Better still I got an immediate 2MPG boost so it will pay for itself in time. Today we needed to put a tall dog crate in the bed. The cover folded back and secured in seconds and was just as easy to put down when we got home. I really wanted a hard cover but this is so much easier to work with and much much less expensive.

Had a Trifecta on my last truck which was 12 years old and still in great shape. That is why I stayed with Extang when purchasing a new tonneau cover for the truck I just purchased. I did upgrade to the emax, which I hope will be as durable.

Love the way this tonneau cover gets secured to the bed of the truck.

This is a great product if you're in need of using your bed a lot. Simply not having to remove your cover every time you need access to your full bed is a great option.
