Good thing I tested this out first. I got it to hold my phone for photo taking during a river hike. Tested it by putting tissue paper inside and submerging. Paper didn't get completely wet, but there was enough water for me to realize it is not a waterproof seal. I suppose it might be useful on a rain day, but I would never trust my premium device in it under water.

Works as advertised. I used it on the beach and boat on my last vacation and did not worry about my phone being damaged.
