I have a PE70 MSI Laptop and one of the fan bearings was going out. You would not think that a little biddy fan could be so loud, but trust me, it's worse than a newborn baby. I could not even have a meeting with my clients. I removed the back of the laptop and disconnected the old fan. BE CAREFUL!!! There are 2 black wires on this model MSI that ride along the fan clips and they snap into metal sockets that are for the wireless and wired network interface adapters. Replacement fan gave me what I needed most --- quiet. Nice, quiet fans. Take your time, get this fan and save a bundle vs sending your rig to the mfgr.

This is a three pin connector. The factory connector on my GE62VR is a four pin connector. Check your board.I de-pinned both connectors and ran the three wires to the four pin connector in the appropriate spots (red, black, yellow) just leaving the blue (control) pin spot empty. I used a pushpin for the de-pinning, not having the correct tools. Fan works, but what a pain in the ass. I was not able to find a replacement fan in a four-pin setup.Delivery was quick, but packaging was inadequate (no box, just bubble wrap and paper) and the fan frame was bent. I was able to carefully unbend it with my fingers.Far from ideal but it works. For the cost I would have expected better.

What can I really say about it? It's a laptop fan. I installed it, and it works as intended. There was enough thermal paste included to touch up all the points of contact for the heat sinks. I cannot in good conscience get too excited about it, nothing life changing happened here, nor should it have. However, 5 stars. Works as expected, no issues to report. Would buy again if I ever end up needing another CPU fan for this model laptop.

I had a MSI GE62 gaming laptop where the left fan was very loud. This was an exact match to the N303 fan that was in the laptop - same exact brand and specification - even the sticker was the same. The little tube of thermal paste was a great bonus. Wasn't too hard to remove & replace - there was a good youtube video on the steps.

Fan fits properly and is functional, however:1. Fan wire was not properly measured and is about 2 inches too long.2. Fan can not run at 6000 RPM like the OEM fan.3. Fan does not have proper pieces to hold down the wires.Update: April 4, 2018, Fan's bearings are shot and I need to buy a new one again.

Worked fine, and is still working. My computer tears through these fans like candy, I'm glad to have an inexpensive way to replace them.

This is a garbage fan. Installed in my laptop about a year ago. Worked fine for a while. Bearings already starting to chatter. Will have to replace *again* before long. Buyer beware. Buy something else.

Worked just fine. I noticed a slight reduction in speed, but it still makes 6000 rpm, so no problem. Fit perfectly.
