Runs fine with Ryzen 2700X
I've had one of these for a year (2x8GB of the RGB variety) running at 3200 MHz on Ryzen 2700X with MSI B450 Pro Carbon. They have an automatic default speed of 2400 MHz and two XMP profiles with 2933 MHz and 3200 MHz.Added another one for 32 GB recently (one year later), Machine would not boot at 3200 MHz with 32 GB, not even POST. Swapped the sticks around trying all combinations and it worked in a few others. New sticks in slots A1/B1 and old ones in A2/B2 offer the highest speeds.4 sticks worked fine at 2400 MHz in any slot config. In one it worked at up to 2666 MHz and in two others it POSTed at 3200 but was unstable. In the worst of the slot configs none of the XMP profiles worked. In the best all configs worked but only 2993 MHz was stable.Attempting to set custom timings I found (via Thaiphoon burner) that the two sets (of the same model, bought a year apart) were in fact manufactured two years apart and had different RAM chips. In other words they were mismatched.Any combination of two sticks (from old and/or new sets) would work just fine at 3200 MHz but not all four.Ryzens inter core cluster CCX speeds are dependent on RAM speeds which means at lower RAM speeds some core to core to communication will be slower. This speed is usually the physical RAM clockspeed (half of DDR frequency). Having said that desktop Ryzen's 2000s max rated RAM speeds is 2993 MHz and anything beyond that is overclocking. For 4 stick configs officially AMD only guarantees 2133 MHz.Currently running it at 2933 MHz via an XMP profile and performance in CPU heavy benchmarks like Cinebench R15 are at around 99.8% of the 16GB 3200 MHz speed. Having said that speeds in apps like Photoshop and Audacity is much better with both apps starting up virtually instantly and running like greased lightning and Unreal Engine 4 doesn't slow down after a while especially after multiple undos. So real world performance for me at least is much better. The moral of the story being if multiple RAM kits are being paired together (even of the same make and model) they should probably be bought at the same time from the same vendor to ensure internal components tally and they can work at their maximum rated speeds.

Beast of RAM- yes it can run crysis
I have gone through enough RAM to know that 1 fps difference matters. This beast of RAM is by far the best investment i have made. After hours of gaming, the temp stays less than 40 and not a single drop in performance, constant 60 fps. I noticed initially that putting in more RAM (higher than 16gb) caused boot time to load slower. So i am happy with boot time on 16gb of RAM. If you want more RAM than make sure your CPU can make use of extra RAM otherwise its useless becuase your cpu auto clock it to match its base clock. So you are looking at 2400mhz speed at idle, 3200 under load but never reaches 3333 which is fine with me becuase my cpu is i7 6800k @ 3.4 ghz. Overall, RAM looks really cool with solid heatsinks. My faith in kingston products just grew little more.Word of advice: caution if OC your cpu beyond 3.6 it can damage RAM and cpu. Sadly i learned too late.If you know what you are doing, go for max but watch the temps. If you are an ametuer like me, let your mobo do the overclocking for you otherwise you will brick your system.

Went in without a fight, and it's been running smoothly.
This pair of RAM cards was advertised to be "somewhat bulky" and would produce issues if on a motherboard without adequate space for its RAM ports, however even on my Ryzen Archangel, which has a fairly cramped space for its only two RAM ports, they went in nicely and fit well. They actually are not nearly as bulky as had been exaggerated in reviews, and didn't offer any installment hurdles. If anything it was easier to put these in than it was to take the original one out. They handle overclocking supremely, and don't appear to have any issues with speed as more space gets eaten up as some of my previous RAMs had. Dealing with larger games or expansive mods also has been like a dream, and they run so much more smoothly I can honestly say that now the limiting factor on my PC is solely the hard drive.I will say I was originally extremely tentative because of the reviews it had gotten, but now that I've actually messed around with it I can guarantee you its worth every cent. It's even a major upgrade for video editing, which is surprising for only 16GB.TLDR: Easy to install, runs beautifully, works well even for things it's not rated for, and terrific price for the results.10/10 would buy again.

HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB 16GB kit 3200MHz CL16 - Terrific on X370 and 2700X CPU
I have used Kingston and HyperX RAM modules in the past, and Kingston is a reputable high quality supplier of RAM modules. I purchased this RGB 16 GB kit to use on an ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme (X370) Motherboard for a new build I am creating for my daughter using a 2700X AMD Ryzen CPU.In terms of pure technical performance, these 3200 CL 16 modules do very well with Ryzen, and they overclocked to their SPD settings with the DOCP control in the BIOS flawlessly. I ran a test of AIDA64, and the bandwidth was excellent, rivaling my overclocked X99 Motherboard. So, these RAM modules do perform very well, and I am not missing anything by not having a CL 14 RAM kit.The RGB implementation did not work at first with the ASUS AURA software, but the Tech Services folks at Kingston were kind enough to help out and now the RAM does sync up with the ASUS AURA software and the rest of my ASUS system. So, I am keeping this RAM kit, and pretty happy I purchased these, and thankful to Kingston for their excellent customer service. Well Done!
