My motherboard came with a toolless clip for the M.2 drive, which I managed to damage. I think regular screws are more secure anyway. Amazon sells a lot of similar kits. But this one was available with early morning delivery and I wanted to get my computer fixed this morning. It doesn't have a lot of each size. If you do this often you might need a bigger kit. But if you just need to fix one computer and maybe have some spare for the future, this should do you. Note that they don't all have the same thread. I guess different motherboards use different threads. I first tried to use standoff with the wrong thread and of course it didn't fit. Then I got the right one and it worked perfect. I like that the screws have a little larger head than some M.2 screws have. This is good. It even came with 3 brass standoffs typically used for motherboard installation. Not sure why but I guess it didn't hurt. EDIT: After upgrading/fixing my computer, I decided to upgrade my wife's. And I had the same problem a second time, bad toolless M.2 clip. I still had leftovers from this kit, so I fixed two computers with this one kit and still have leftovers. Seems like a deal to me.

I picked this kit up after I lost the original mounting screw that came with my motherboard. Has the mounting screws needed

TLDR: I didn’t know if this would work. I’m thankful it did and after a couple months I have no issues. Screwdriver sucks. Bought a second M.2 SSD for my ASUS B460m-plus AC. It came in a prebuilt so I didn’t have the stand off screws or maybe I lost them. I didn’t know until I went to install the new SSD, so that was a surprise. I spent a lot of time looking for and researching the right screws. But I didn’t find a definitive answer. The screwdriver is terrible, barely magnetic at all and couldn’t even hold the screw. I used a piece of Blu-Tak so the screw wouldn’t fall off since I didn’t remove my GPU or other components when I installed.

While building a PC, these are indispensable. Perfect size.

Needed some standoff caps and screws for my older Asus X99 Deluxe II Motherboard as I long ago misplaced the originals for the Hyper M.2 X4 adapter card. I dumped the package on the table and tried the screws and they were the wrong size and almost panicked, but then realized there were two baggies in the package and one was still in the box. Those smaller standoffs and screws were just what I needed. Worked perfectly.

Found the stand off for my nvme drive and secured it to my board. Has different stand off and screws for different make of board. Very happy with product and arrived when stated. Good show.
