I bought this to replace another hammock with broken clips. I actually thought it was the same hammock since it has the same pattern on the outside and the lining looks the same in the picture, which is my mistake. (Comparison photos show my old hammock at the top and this one at the bottom.)It's smaller than I expected. It's too small to hold two adult male ferrets, but it'll work for one ferret. It feels and looks cheap. My ferrets loved the fluffy lining on the old hammock, and I was disappointed to find the lining on this is flat and thin. The clips are also small. I managed to get it to clip onto the smaller bars on my CritterNation cage, but it won't clip onto the thicker bars. Unless your cage has thin bars, I'd pass on this.

I had always seen these little hammocks in the kitten cages at the shelter and vets offices and always wanted one, but I thought it would be too big for our grown cats.Well, we got a new addition! A new kitten, 11 weeks old and I was curious to see how he would figure this thing out.He had no problem! It attaches easily and he jumped right in.The thing I love about it is that you don't have to tie it in, it has metal clasps and it attaches securely so there's no way your kitten will fall out or unclasp it. It's well made, no extra parts for a kitten to get hurt on and it's so soft! He sleeps in this all the time and he looks so cute in it.I think it's important for cats to be up high, even though this hammock doesn't really make them high, it brings them off the ground where it may be colder and help them feel more secure.We will probably get a few more of these and even though our adult cats are big, I'm sure they will find a way to use it. Great product!

I bought 3 because I thought they were the same as the one I already own. It is too small for one of my cats but would have been fine for my not-quite-grown kittens. So, I hooked up 2 of them and saved the 3rd for a spare. Within the first week of use, one of the clamps broke off of one of the hammocks. No biggie, I figured it was a defect (although the clamps are pretty cheaply made) so I fixed it with a tie strap. A week later, the other hammock had a clamp break in the same exact way. There are much better quality products out there - pay a few dollars more and get them. I will be returning these this week!

Very pleased. When my ferrets hammocks get dingy I always replace them. I washed a hammock one time and it left ferret hair all over my washer resulting in me have to put my washer on rinse cycle with nothing in it And left my washer smelling ferrety. So now I avoid ferret hair and smell everywhere and just chuck the old out and buy a new. I also don't want the hair to over time clog up my washer. So I went with this hammock not wanting to spend a lot since I buy a new one often and its very nice! Not as plush as a 20 dollar hammock but certainly very close and still very cozy. my ferrets took to it right away and use it every day. Fits 2 grown size ferrets . ill fed prob start buying these from. La on as long as the price stays great.

I got this Hammock for three kittens I rescued out of a ditch near my farm. I have them in a large ,what I would call play crate, I use this it is an extra sleeping place. It has three platforms inside the crate but they prefer laying on this and sometimes even fight over it. The kitties seem to love it. It was a great purchase and very inexpensive. I would definitely recommend it. It might be just a little bit too small for a large cat but I’m sure a small or medium cat would fit in it just fine. .

I have bought this item twice. Once for my rats and then for my ferret. The rats chew a lot so they chewed holes in this very easily. At first it was cool because they chewed through just the top layer and could sleep inside the fabric but eventually they chewed all the way through it and now no one can lay in it.The ferret however, loves it. He slept in it the first night I added it to his cage. It is a great size for him and since he doesn't chew everything, this is perfect for him.

Not safe for cats! I used this on a fairly petite female cat. It broke within a day or so, surprising as the last one managed a few months. It frightened her when it broke and she was hesitant to use the replacement of a different brand.I'd never purchase this product again and have since found a different brand hammock that -although smallish- has much stronger hooks and she loves it. I do not think the hooks on this brand are metal. It is some sort of very cheap material, perhaps coated. I used to buy this brand often but the recent ones are breaking. Perhaps there has been a reduction in quality recently so I'd urge the manufacturer to either charge more for a better quality or give up. I got refunds for both of these that broke and encourage other people who experience breakage to do the same.

This hammock is super cute and soft. The clips were easy to attach to the crate and the kitten love it. The clips used are unfortunately very cheap and 1 broke within a half hour of being set up. So far (after about a week) the remaining clips have stayed in tact. But over all I'm super disappointed for the cheap clips which kind of defeat the purpose of having if they don't work as intended.
