Good replacement for 2007 Camry Hybrid auxiliary battery. Some installation tips.
Note: Amazon now offers the 24 and 24F models at the same Prime price. April, 2016.Six year review. Battery still OK but I probably shortened it's life by allowing the battery to drain down. I let the car sit for about three months. Look at YouTube for videos on replacement tips and other battery part numbers. One year in service update: Everything with the battery is working fine. This battery replaced the 12 volt auxiliary battery in a 2007 Camry Hybrid. The Panasonic factory original went almost 9 years and 83,000 miles. Based on other reviews on Amazon I chose the AGM 24F model. The unit arrived in 4 days and had a Jan. 2016 build date. Here's my experience on the change out.1) Although the AGM 24 model has the correct orientation of the top connectors, the AGM 24F will fit. The 24 F has the advantage of lower price and is available on Amazon Prime, so total cost is less. Just place the positive terminal facing forward.2) A Toyota dealer will charge around $500 for a replacement battery installed.3) During changeover I kept a 12 volt source in parallel to the + battery cable and chassis ground. Car computers etc. never had a power interruption. I didn't get any warnings or error codes. Think through the steps ahead of time so you don't cause a short circuit.4) The change out of the battery cables is easier if you just pull the existing battery out in to the trunk compartment.5) Pull the vent fitting off the old Panasonic battery. The Exide AGM24F has the vent tube positioned near the positive post, right where the vent hose is on the car. Use the old fitting and a short (one inch) section of 1/4 inch ID hose to adapt to the new battery vent tube.6) Pry off the temperature sensor and wires from the old battery and glue or bond to the new battery. Use care to avoid damaging the sensor or wires. The battery has been working fine. I'll provide updates if needed.

Poor Quality AGM Battery - Fails without warning
The battery I received lasted 25 months in an Acura that has been parked in a heated garage every single night since installation. The battery also failed without any warning and was tested with professional diagnostic equipment as unable to produce +12v with load. Per the battery store the likely cause has to do with plate failure on the inside which could be due to poor quality assurance by the manufacturer. So the bad news is that the battery can fail without warning, which for the unlucky person could happen in the middle of nowhere. The good news is that since it was purchased from Amazon and still within the 48 month warranty period Amazon offered a free replacement or full refund without need to ship back the battery. Great customer service and if you can handle the risk of failure go for it.

Was A Great Battery
I bought this battery through Amazon in January of 2017, it was installed in a 2013 Honda CRV. The 24F is slightly larger case size than the 51R Honda recommends but it will easily fit with a Honda Odyssey battery tray. The specs on this battery are considerably better than the 51R. I went through the OE and one additional 51R replacement from 5/13 to 1/17. Then I went with the Exide AGM and got 6 years 8 months out of it. The last three years of use in the CRV was primarily during winter, with the car sitting most of the summers. It was a good ride!

Not long lasting
I ordered this battery October 2016. At first the battery was great. Now one year later the battery is not keeping a charge. Looking for a more durable battery again.

Case swelled and cracked
Worked great for ten months then the case mysteriously swelled and cracked. Still cranks the vehicle so it can take a beating but not happy about the broken case.

Excellent product, got this battery for 2007 Toyota
Excellent product, got this battery for 2007 Toyota. Camry Hybrid. The dealer wanted $ 431.00 and installation fees. I laughed at the guy. The nest way to install this battery. Remove the original battery then remove the temperature sensor. Install the sensor on the side of the new battery with strong tape. The battery only fitted with logo towards the inside of the fender. Connect the sensor to the car. Connect the small tube to the battery for the fumes and tight the terminals before you push the battery inside the brackets.

Very good battery for the price.
I installed this battery in a 2007 Camry hybrid, why?, because the dealer wanted $450 to install the 'Special' Panasonic OEM one. This fits fine, although reversed but the cables are plenty long enough, had to hot glue the temp sensor to the top but no big deal. Works great, been in a couple of weeks without issue, one heavy duty gel-cell, saved me over $250. Love the built in handle, all in all a good buy, expect it to outlast the car (well, at least my ownership)

I like AGM batteries
I like AGM batteries, but not this one. 18 months in my small pickup truck began starting slowly. It wouldn't start a few times and needed to be jumped. I cleaned and tightened all the terminals and checked the alternator, everything is working well except for the battery. If I take my truck for long drives everyday it seems fine. But it would hold a charge when it sits for a couple days. Waste of money. I work on boats that only run 2 months a year and their batteries sit in storage the other ten months, optima batteries start them year after year.
