PEARL IZUMIWomen's EM Road H3 v2 Running Shoe

Took them out today for my first run in them and love them! I bought these to replace my Brooks PureCadence2 which the new PureCadence5 are just too narrow in the toe box and over my arch. I got online after my run to look up more versions and am so sad to see that 2016 is the last year this brand will make running shoes so now to stock up. I just bought a pair of Pearl Izumi Road M2 v2 as well. The H line is set up for more heel stability and then the M is for more mid stability. Due to my over pronation I can feel very quickly if a shoe will or will not work because my knees will be sore after a run. No soreness with these at all. Only con is they are an 1oz heavier then my brooks were which will take a bit to get used to.I will buy as many of this brand/color and styles that I can before they stop making them as a mild over pronator who prefers minimalist shoes these are a great fit.

I just started running again and needed to replace my years old shoes. Knowing I am not built for running and that I overpronate, I wanted a shoe with motion control, stability and cushioning. After reading many reviews on many different brands I settled on the Pearl Izumi EM Road H3. I ordered 1/2 size up (9 M) so I could put in an additional supportive sport insert and still have room in the toe box. I have logged just over 14 miles (1 week of use, casual runner) since I got these, and right out of the box to the road, these provide a comfortable cushy ride. The new technology and lightweight materials of this shoe are a vast improvement over my old shoes. So far I really like them and plan to keep on hitting the road! ;)

I had never heard of Pearl Izumi until 2 yrs ago when I started walk/jogging for the first time. I went to a local running store and the fit me into my 1st pair (not this shoe). I have a high arch and Pearl Izumi has been the ONLY shoe that has given me the arch support I need.I needed new shoes for my Disney Vacation and ordered these. I was shocked at how cushy these shoes are! There is only one down side, when I wear regular socks with these shoes my feet sweat. I already had running socks, and when I wear them with this shoe my feet stay cool and cushy! I don't think these would make great running shoes, but are amazing for long distance walking/speedwalking/light jogging. If you are just starting a C25K or like to do long distance walking this shoe will give you the support you need!

I love these shoes 💕too bad they don’t make them any more. I have bought 3 other different pairs of running shoes and they hurt my feet. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I can no longer find another pair 😭

This is my third pair of pearl izumis. I strike fairly evenly (no under/over-pronation. Overall I like these but they offer very little natural arch support, so I insert small supports on the instep which do the trick. Love the style/colors! Look even better in person.

Had to buy 1/2 size larger than all my other Pearl Izumi H3 shoes (mostly road) because my toes were hitting the ends of the normal size 8 I first bought in this shoe, and stupidly wore them on a long walk so I could not retuen them. My toes ached for days afterwards. Got his shoe in 8.5 and it fits perfectly. They are cushy and comfortable.

Love these shoes! I have plantar fasciitis that is chronic and have tried many different shoes! These have helped me with flare ups considerably. Before buying research the type of sole you need for you foot and then pick a style to fit your foot! They have soles for flat feet and high arches also;) I love mine!

I have worn PI shoes for years! These are great but toe box is wide. Sad PI is no longer in the running business.
