The smell is rather plain. Does a good job with my hair.

This worked great for my multi-textured low porosity natural hair. It doesn't feel stripping and my hair felt nice and soft to the touch. I bought the matching conditioner and used it after but it didn't feel nice after I rinsed it. My hair felt dry and tangled easily. I tried them separately a few times and realized the conditioner is just not for me but the shampoo is great. It's a very watery consistency and I have very thick long hair so to make it last longer I use just a little of this and just a little of Shea Moisture Shea Butter Shampoo. The combination has worked really well for me.

I really like this shampoo. My hair started to thin a bit as I got older and this tends to thicken it up. Also I have been struggling with some scalp conditions such as redness and irritation(itchy). I think it was due to the harsh and drying chemicals that most shampoos use such as sodium lauryl sulfates. This shampoo seemed to have really helped. I will say one thing tho, I have noticed that it is best to really rinse out your hair before applying this shampoo. It seems that if hair is not rinsed out first the shampoo will not lather that well, and may result in some buildup. It also smells like pine sol, haha. It really doesn't bother me, actually wakes me up more in the morning shower. Just rinse it all out and you won't smell it the rest of the day.

I have made the switch. This shampoo is all natural so you can read the ingredient list and know what they put in it. I have oily hair and now I barely have to do anything to it just wash and wear. Smells amazing! my daughter who is 7yrs likes it too. There is no other shampoo Ive used on the market that compares. P.S. If you're hair is oily they have a light weight creme rinse. Use that cause if you use the conditioner it will over hydrate. Their conditioner is great for dry ends. It takes some getting used to because it doesn't lather like crazy and it has no coloring in it.

Please do not purchase this product! I used to use it as my only hair product. Then the company sold and they kept "tinkering" with the formula without telling the customers. I kept using it after noticing the ingredients changed order when the. Kyle changed. I have had this happen with other shampoos so I am wary. No harm came to me the first time. The second time they changed the formula and no package changes. My scalp started to get very flaky and dry. Then it became itchy and scabby. Then it was oozing and cracking and bleeding!! I realized it must be the shampoo since it is litterally the only thing I use on my hair. I called Aubrey and they were very dismissive. They said, "Oh, yeah the pH is higher than we want it to be so we're working on it. That's what is causing the "redness." ". I told the smug jerk that it wasn't redness that my scalp was messed up and horrible. They didn't care and said they would only trade it for another of their products. NO WAY. They literally burned me and I would. Ever buy their inferior crap again.

I have pretty simple straight hair that can be happy enough with just about anything i throw at it but it was not happy with this shampoo. The only problem I deal with is my hair starting to get oily after a day, but it can still typically go every other day with a wash. This shampoo did not do the job though after a few hours I could hardly stand the film that was growing on my roots. I really tried to give this a go as I really would love to use natural goods but between the thin viscocity and the lack of suds along with the formula it just was not going to be a winner. The conditioner was better at least.

I have used the GPB shampoo since 2008 and this is a staple for me because of what it does for my hair. It also doesn't strip colour from my hair, but keeps it healthy, cleans well, replaces lost protein and also gives volume.You may also notice that your hair grows faster than usual due to the protein in this shampoo.I wish it were a tiny bit cheaper as I get through loads of these shampoos.
