AnconaAN-1362 Inserta Plus 28” 420 CFM Ducted Built-in Range Hood in Stainless Steel

My wife loves the insert. It was an easy install, it looks great, easy to clean the filters, the lights are bright, it’ll seriously move some air. We usually use it on the low setting but when on high it sounds like a tornado but it pulls smoke and fumes quickly out of the kitchen. It’s been in the kitchen a year now and we’ve had no issues with it.

Very loud, we have never used high due to sound. It does work well, pushes our exhaust out 30’

Update (6/22/2020) - Fan started making noise as if something is hitting it. I took the filter off to see what is happening. Looks like the fan has come loose from the motor shaft. I tried to either tighten or remove the nut that is holding the fan to the shaft (to check if there was any key grove that holds the plastic fan to the shaft). I can see the thread is clockwise to loosen. That is fine. But, it does not come out. Since the fan is loose on the shaft, I can't use the fan for a little grip.DO NOT BUY THIS. Just 2 years of normal use killed it.=======================Works okay. Very noisy. I understand range hoods make noise due to motor and air sucking action. But, this has kind of flimsy metal vibrating kind of noise. Fan sucking sound is also not smooth. I have had other range hoods before this in previous houses.Light is very nice. Clean white light. Not overly bright and not too dim.Speed controls and timer controls are not intuitive. We have learned them now. So, it is ok.

We just installed in our new home. So far it working great. It’s not that loud. And the led lights are very bright.

I build hoods for a living, I always talk my clients into a ventahood liner due to the ease of cleaning and simplicity. This liner I put in my own house due to the budget. It's easily adaptable to other types of mounting rather than a wood cabinet installation. Fan works great, 3 speeds, lights are nice and bright.As long and you position the unit correctly over the burners you'll have no problems with the unit, very happy with it.

I was kinda worried. I purchased this vent before I read the reviews. I was so worried that the vent would be obnoxiously loud. This vent is AWESOME! Not as load as people are saying. Lights are bright and the vent PUMPS! Great product!

My unit is not noisy like some complaint here. I guess it depends how well it's installed (the way it's secured and the duct air flow)It works well. Great price. We will have to see how long it'll last.* It should've come at least with some clip on U-Nuts* Also had to get T-Brackets for my project

After paying over $400 for this item it is noisier then a $50 bathroom fan. Worst choice i ever recommended to a client. Wont ever recommend this brand again to any future clients.

Quiet enough for such CFM rate , No vibration at all , Powerful ,Compact size, led light very bright, Excellent packaging , easy to install , 6" duct a must to get the full CFMhighly recommend!
