Just what I needed!
These are great for exterior wall mounted light fixtures. I was replacing my old ones with dark sky friendly fixtures but I found there was a large gap between the box and the surface of the cement fiber siding. These rings fit perfectly!

Does the job
If you need an extra half inch for a round box or octagon box with holes 3 1/2 inch apart, this 4 inch round extension ring works. Sturdy, fits, currently holding up our new ceiling fan. Remember that the size is outside diameter. The inner holes will be 3 1/2 inches apart.

Not as stated
It’s says 2 peices on the title which at 23 dollars is a rip off, but when i only get one ring for 23 dollars im pissed. The actual metal boxes cost 5 bucks. Why would one small ring run me 25? Caterpillars it is… ridiculous
