Solid Build, 3 Full Size USB Ports, Long battery Life m3 CPU vs typical MicroUSB, ATOM and 32 GB and a still affordable price..
I'd been looking for a good Windows Tablet or Small Convertible Laptop. Some of my Software must be on a Windows platform, no substitute on Android or iOS. I needed a Full Size USB Port, and there are very few affordable Tablets of current technology, This is a dream unit for me! It has a single USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 Ports for a total of three FULL SIZE USB PORTS; and a 500 GB Hard Drive; I have no worries of outgrowing it soon in my application. I like the twin hinge folding design much more than any detachable keyboard. The unit allows me to leave primary laptop at home where it is more secure. My Dell is for travel, but would suffice for all my home use but heavy Adobe Lightroom use. I will use it for Engine Diagnostics with an OBD Cable, Audio System Testing.with RTA programs and USB Mic Mixers, and general browsing etc. Good features, Large HD Capacity, Power Efficiency with the Intel m3 CPU and a very solid "Feel" to the whole unit. It easily fits in my vehicles arm rest for transport out of sight. The Amazon Basics $9.99 Sleeve is a comfortable fit and the AC Power Supply fits in it as well. It also connected to my Blue Tooth AIO Brother brand Printer with ease! Now off to find an Automotive 12 Volt Portable Charger to fit the 3169 model. Not all Inspiron 11.6" 3000 Series use the same Power Plug I found out. Read those Charger descriptions carefully..

Actually 3.5 stars.
Every 5 years I try a new computer to see if they improved any. Each time I am a little disappointed. The touch screen is very much improved over previous computers, but still not quite as good as a cheap $59 Amazon Fire tablet. Go figure.Initial speed is a big improvement over previous computers, although my Samsung S6 phone is faster, even a cheap Kindle Fire is faster. This I do not understand. Why a phone or tablet is faster than a big computer. On the positive side, I absolutely need a computer, because it still does some things you cannot do on a phone or tablet. One of the things you can do are actually missing on this computer, like directly connecting it via Ethernet cable. No Ethernet connection on this thing. Pure wifi computer. There is only a few things I use a computer for nowadays, like maybe 1% of things I do. If tablets or phones would gain that extra little compatibility with Microsoft programs, I would never need a computer. I process pictures on the computer and have never found any app on tablet or phone that can compare. I connect all my hard drives to the computer, update them and feel more comfortable doing this on a computer. I am sure there are a few things I missed that I absolutely need a computer for.I will update this if the speed on this computer drops off.

Nice but slow sometimes....
Buy a grey one (2 weeks ago).. nice color! It is for my daugher for homework and fun.. for the price, size and weight ..it was the best choice.. however :The good- Slim, lightweight, awesome lookThe bad (So far)- Power button location is annoying- Battery duration is not as expected (it says 10 hrs) but We all know it depends on how much load are you handling on device.. but I noticed battery lasts 5 hrs around.. while on Netflix via wireless- Slow when powering up (need to keep pressed power button for a while (10+ secs?) have not being able to figure it out.. sometimes less - i think it because it is on sleep mode.. but after a full power down ..yes.. it takes 10+ secs to show the DELL logo :(UPDATEmy Daughter use this one.. and I noticed few weeks ago , that I could not turn touchscreen to work again.. and it seems I need to check on configuration and see if it is because of this or if there is problem on the tocuh screenUPDATE 2020Since day 1 issues with TABLET mode - did not work -Now SSD motherboard crashed 6 month ago ..trying to recoverNeed a Trash can to deposit itDELL Never tried to asume responsibility for this device

Great Purchase
Product for the price is outstanding ($349.00 when I purchased the Tango Red i3169 model). Battery usage life is my only gripe, I have received anywhere from 4.0 to 5.5 half hours per full charge. There are battery and power consumption settings that need to be tweaked to squeeze out a longer usage time. For the price, the processor works great. There is some lag when streaming video and when websites are loading, but I am able to stream video on an external monitor and surf the internet on the laptop with great satisfaction; the processor seems to handle the load well.I don't recommend this if you are looking to use this primarily in the tablet mode, it feels clunky and the feel of the keys on the back is awkward. You may want a Surface. I have gotten used to the tablet mode, but I primarily use in the laptop mode.Be aware that when you switch from tablet mode to laptop mode that there may be a delay. The screen is small, but not bad.I recommend this for students and as a secondary or backup PC, especially for those who travel. However, this would make a great primary PC, just make sure you back up your files, as with any computer.

Slow.
I can't stand how slow and hung up it is. Maybe i'm just used to much faster systems (gaming laptops), but the delay in response generally (ONE Note, Word, Power Point, PDF Reader, Browsers) and it getting hung up every so often (opening multiple apps, going back and forth between apps) makes it so i only exclusively use it when i need to read and am absolutely tired of sitting down. If i had to go back to decide to get this (as a convenient option to the more heavier laptops for more professional purposes - eg. meetings - or reading articles), i would not have, too frustrating to use.
