Does this work on older HP Laptop computers ?

I did a bit of research prior to buying this hp silent mouse and what I found was this excerpt from online: The HP 280 silent wireless mouse needs a free USB-A port and is fully compatible with both Windows (7 and up) and Mac OS (10.1 and later). I hope this helps with your decision and I can also attest that it is truly quiet and the best mouse that I have ever owned. Don't hesitate, buy it (if it's compatible of course!)

I've had it for 2 months and now it keeps stopping, and I have to flip the switch off and on for it to resume working. How do I fix this?

I don't believe I have had the mouse for 2 months yet, and so far have not experienced the problem you are having. I don't know where you purchased it but I would try another battery, or check the settings on your computer.

What's the range? I have a surveillance system in a utility closet I want to control. Its about 30ft away with one wall of drywall in between.

I haven’t tested the range of the mouse, when I use it it is on my mousepad a couple inches from the computer.

Us this mouse compatible with a Logitech M510 keyboard?
