Southern Tide Printed Cotton Sheet Sunset Pink, King

I am very fussy about sheets and these are absolutely perfect. (We use 100% Belgian linen sheets for our own bed.) These sheets are truly 100% cotton percale; they washed beautifully, no wrinkles, have deep pockets, and the design is both adorable and yet subtle. We run an Airbnb and I wanted to upgrade our bedding from the awful microfiber we had to purchase when we first opened because we were operating on a shoestring budget. The only good thing about the microfiber sets was the color, a beautiful, vibrant yellow, which I desperately wanted to repeat, only in a better quality sheet. After endless searching, I could only find a couple of "yellow" non-micro-fiber options that turned out not to be true yellow, but either gold or mustard yellow. I was hesitant to buy these because of the mini-fish design that I thought would look silly. Now, I couldn't be happier! They are just the right amount of whimsy and from a distance look like polka dots. This purchase was truly one of those happy accidents, where something I thought probably wasn't going to work out ended up being better than the plain, solid yellow that I thought I wanted! These sheets are vibrant, fun, and yet, understated — and the quality is amazing, truly well-made and the perfect crisp all-cotton fabric I wanted for both our Airbnb and our family guests.

I have 3 pair of these sheets!!! Best sheets I've ever had for my king bed. They are so crisp yet so perfect once washed and put on the bed!! These are the only sheets i will buy because they are just as good as the $100 sheets that I've purchased in the past just to get good sheets!! I truly love sleeping on these crisp cool sheets!!!! And cool i mean temperature cool !! You can't go wrong. I hope they come up woth different designs!!!!

Everybody has different tastes in food, and different taste in bedding comfort as well. I purchased both the blue with little white fish and the white sheets with the little blue fish. Both are cute. I have only used the white sheets so far but find they have a smooth strength and don’t wrinkle. The bottom sheet stayed very smooth in spite of my using it on an old hospital bed which a mattress made to bend. I found them delightfully comfortable and the price didn’t hurt either, which certainly adds to the comfort.

They feel amazing. Awesome quality. They wash well. I purchased the yellow. They have little blue fish. These are on my daughters bed. She doesn’t like a lot of pink, so we were looking for alternatives. These are better quality than average sheets. I usually buy Ralph Lauren or Tommy Bahama for sheets. I also love percale sheets. I like the smooth, crisp, cool feeling sheets. And that is exactly how you can describe these.

I ordered the (orange) coral color with fish print, twin size, June of 2020.Fun print & color.Nice percale weave, thick & sturdy, cool, crisp sheets that won’t pill. Pet hair brushes off fairly easily. Cotton percale sheets (loved by many for it’s particular qualities), will always wrinkle out of the dryer. It’s a sign that it is actually 100% cotton & actually percale weave. These are stiff enough that it’s a little easier to manage the wrinkly nature than some thinner percale sheets.Taking a star off because I would have loved better quality stitching. Nothing is coming undone, and it is neat enough, but it is single stitch, and is finished with the stitch running off the end of the material, leaving little tails of interlocked thread, that you fear to cut because it may cause it to unravel. Not a big deal, as the corners of the flat sheet aren’t usually on display. But it could be done better.There are 3 types of smooth when it comes to sheets (not even going to include all the hot, pill-prone synthetic types):1)The slippery-smooth of synthetic satin, or silk sheets (not this),2) the somewhat slippery & soft (microscopic fuzzy) smooth of sateen weave cotton (not this),and3) the not-at-all-slippery type of smooth of percale weave cotton where there is no fuzziness at all & it will never pill & pet hair brushes off it better than sateen weave (this is that type of percale-smooth).Some people describe percale as rough/canvas-like when comparing to sateen weave (but there are durability benefits to percale that sateen doesn’t have, and some people find the slight microscopic fuzz of sateen weave a bit itchy or hot. I personally find sateen weave prickly/itchy against my cheeks & sensitive skin, and don’t like that it can pill. These sheets will never pill & don’t have the itchy fuzz. Sateen weave feels really soft on my fingers & palm of my hand, but not on my more sensitive skin like my cheek on the pillow. These are smooth in comparison, in that way.)These say 200 thread count. They are much thicker than the supposedly long-staple cotton 200 TC percale sheets of a different brand that I just bought (those ones are so thin they are see-through, and I am thinking of returning those.)I would never describe these sheets as “silky” like another commenter from 2016. They are the typical percale weave feel, and though percale are sometimes described as soft after lots of washes, they are not the silky or the slightly fuzzy soft like a sateen weave at all. These are crisp sheets that will likely last longer & become softer & better with age.

My Gramma always told me to get percale sheets that were only 200tc or higher which is why I got these. I don’t want her disapproving narrowed eye looking down at me from heaven. These are 100% Gramma approved - soft yet crisp and cool, no pilling and a whimsical print. They do not however come out of the dryer wrinkle free, in fact the Mr accused me of washing them in the river with a rock that’s how wrinkly they were. But since I’m not down to iron sheets I put them on the bed anyway and no more complaints were had once they were tightened snuggly on the mattress. Still highly recommended if you’re picky about sheets.

I love percale sheets because they are smooth and crisp. They stay in place unlike the Egyptian cotton that are always loose. These sheets are great and a really good price. I don't get the negative comments so I will leave that up to preference. I don't like getting twisted up in loose sheets. I have some Vera Wang sheets I got in 2009 and they are great (Percale), smooth, crisp and cool, unfortunately they no longer have them anymore. The Vera Wang I have are my favorite and now I have another fav, Southern Tide. Glad I took a chance.

Fits very well. Wrinkles kind of easy but overall a good value.
