These equivalents retail in home depot/ lowe's for ~$30! Was a little hesitant buying these but they work perfectly fine. Fits my model (CHECK YOUR MODEL) and the brightness is wonderful.

The bulb is a CFL 55W and rated 3000k so it's just a little bit brighter and is has a whiter light. The male connector from the bulb to the ballast on the replacement bulb is positioned differently compared to the old bulb. The old bulb male connector was slightly angled away from the bulb while the new bulb connection is set perpendicular in the middle of the bulb. I had enough wiring from the ballast and was able to make it work with my fixture. I'm not sure about longevity but would expect the item to last a couple of years. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy this item again.

These are the bulbs that the pissed off contractor puts in your closet.....After looking at hardware and bulb stores I wised up and found it on Amazon.I could not wait for the bulb to come in. Living out of a dark closet is humbling.It finally showed up.... Today was the day!! My proud fiance could not wait to finish the task.(You know how that goes....) I wanted to tell her to not be so aggressive with the bulb, but she knew everything right there at that moment. As her arms are extended over her head and as her sunburnt body started to give way. I was only a matter of time before toxic fluorescent snowed down upon us. She gathered her last bit of patience and balance as she smushed the bulb into place and broke it. It was so broke that an "I told you so" didn't fit in my vocabulary. Needless to say she will be ordering number 2.

After first turn on and off it would not work. It had come unplugged and would not stay plugged in. I am unable to do repair by myself, so had to wait for return of son to remove it and put in a new one. Not an easy thing in this pandemic. He could not get the plug to stay on. Bought a different brand and it works great.

Fits properly in the ceiling, brighter than I remember the previous light being. Can't say about longevity, as I've had it in for only a few weeks.

Made mistake of buying a lamp with one of these Eco Bulbs, replacements super expensive. The original with limited use stopped working after 4 years. With extremely limited choices this was the best though did not line up like the original you can move the plug around on the lamp to fit. What ever the trivial savings in electricity not worth the hassle of these ECO Lamps

Because of the conflicting reviews as to suitability, I was a bit hesitant to purchase this item as a replacement for a 2CT 55W G10q 3500K bulb. However, based on the low price and the customer review which said that it would work provided that I had a flexible 4-prong plug, I went ahead and got it. Although the replacement bulb turned out to be a 1/2 inch larger in diameter, it still fit fine and the non-angled/flush mount prongs were no probem to connect the plug to. I am happy with this purchase!

So I couldn't find a replacement 2C light that fits an old hamilton bay ceiling fan. Saw it on Amazon and bought this brand. Thought it wouldn't fit - but there is a trick. You must flip it so the light plug is facing down. Then you must carefully place it in the two holding spots (slings? or metal brackets?) If you're not careful, you will break the bulb - it is very brittle. As long as you're careful it installs perfectly. Hopefully it lasts long.
