Wouldn't replace when wasn't working
Absolutely dissapointed. This worked well for around 16 uses and then it wouldn't switch on.Was told I couldn't have a replacement , only a refund even though it was only three months old.Was great when it worked.Still don't understand why they wouldn't replace it. Maybe because they've increased the price!!Won't be buying another from here.Apart from the poor quality , I don't feel I should have been refused a replacement

Easy to use and very convenient
The air fryer was a in several ways and I miss the convenience of it. BUT I noticed it was disconnecting from the base pan more and more. This is more than a nuisance - it is absolutely dangerous! As time went by the handle was getting looser (no way of getting access to the assembly to tighten up). Then finally it broke off from the basket exposing a very poorly designed assembly that was bound to break away. Just a thought - there is a bloody good reason why basic pans have very securely fitted handles. No one wants to lift a boiling pan up that has a handle fitted on with 3 small machine screws through a weak, brittle and fragile base. When it snapped the handle broke away from the basket of hot food! This is extremely poor.

Fiddly and bits drop off
Lots of time consuming beeping involved every time you want to cook something. Other fryers have dials you quickly spin to select the temperature and the time duration. This one has buttons you press and beep. When you turn it on the default cooking time is way too long at 15 minutes so you have to press the - button to reduce this by a minute at a time with an annoying accompanying beep. Default temperature is too low at 80 so you have to beep your way up in 10 degree increments. The grill handle has an annoying safety feature, a plastic cover over the basket handle mechanism which you have to move in order to pull the basket out. At least that’s what I remember it did. It snapped off on day 2 which was a relief. Unfortunately now, after 5 months, the button underneath it has started falling out so I have to keep pushing it back in.Finally the basket doesn’t slide into the unit smoothly, you have to hold the unit down with your hand and push the basket sort of inwards and upwards at the same time. This was not an issue with my old Philips model.Cooks well.

Highly recommend
I love this air fryer. It is the best kitchen appliance I have ever bought. It's very easy to use and clean. It sits neatly on the kitchen counter. You can literally cook anything in it that would ordinarily go in the oven or be fried. Iv done everything from burgers, vegetables, potatoes, fries, omlettes, toasties and I bought the 7inch accessories kit and made a cake. That turned out better than anything iv tried to bake in the oven. I use it pretty much daily, the oven has barely been on. There are two of us and I think it's just the right size however if I'd have known how often it would get used I'd have bought a bigger one. Something that would have held a 8 inch accessories pack as the 7inch is pretty small. Meals are now significantly easier and quicker.
