I bought this set a while ago when I started to crochet. They are made well and in my opinion good quality tools for blocking. I didnt use them as much in the beginning, until I started to crochet some garments. They are a LIFE SAVER when blocking crocheted or knit items. The blocking combs are sturdy, super sharp (be careful!) and come in 2 sizes. Having the extra T pins was a huge help especially when needing to keep a straight line between blocking combs. The tape measure is a plus! I would recommend this set to both novices and well seasoned crocheters!!

I have crocheted and knitted my entire life, and somehow gotten away with not using block pins. What the heck was I thinking?! this particular set is perfect for those uninitiated to using blocking paraphernalia to finish your yarnwork. I like to use the bare mattress of our guest bed to set my projects. I love that this set comes with a variety of options for blocking your work. The individual pins are great for detail while the pin cards are perfect for large surface areas. The pins are the perfect depth for even thick projects like blankets. And everything stores very conveniently in a single storage case. These are great by and I highly recommend them.

I’m new to crocheting and my work wasn’t exactly straight on edges so I purchased the blocking pins and combs along with a set of blocking boards. It worked fantastically! What a great idea someone came up with. You can pin your work on straight guided by lines and grids drawn on the board. Takes the guesswork out of it all.

This is the first time I blocked anything and this was easy to use and worked well.

These blocking pins are a great addition to my crochet and knitting projects. I use to not block items because it was such a pain but with these blockers you get enough hold to actually work without using a ton of individual pins. I wish I had splurged and bought these years ago. This is a MUST have for crocheting and knitting projects

Mixed feelings about this item. I ordered this one because of the box - which is flimsy, doesn’t stay closed well, and is too small. You have to fiddle around to get everything to fit in there, and I honestly don’t want to have to spend all that time just to put something away. There is a cheap tape measure included which I would have rather them put more money into the quality of the box then add a junky little unnecessary tape measure. The pins themselves are sturdy and do the job just fine. But if you’re going to buy this set for the ease of storage, skip this and find a better one.

This is a great product for blocking crochet squares! Easy to push into blocking mat & sturdy. I block wet & only have enough mats to block 12 squares at a time so are is MORE than enough combs & pins to handle that. I've never used blocking combs before and it is the way to go! Wish I would have had these before.

These pins work well, but fair warning- they are SHARP. Very easy to stab yourself if you’re not careful. Love the case to hold them.

This is a great little set of pins. There’s more combs than you find in other sets and loads of pins. They’re good and sharp and go in to your foam blocking boards with ease. I don’t know if they’ll rust or not so will keep an eye on that. The set comes with a small block of foam and I’m not sure what it’s for! But it is really useful as a pin cushion for quickly putting combs and pins in while you work as they fit very snuggly in the storage box. Perhaps this is exactly what it’s for and, if so, it’s a great addition. The plastic boxes are not super quality but will last very well with a bit of care and perhaps an extra band around the outer box to support the clasp. The whole set is much better than I expected and I’m very pleased with it.
