BillabongNew Comer Straw Hat

I purchased this hat for one of my DIY projects to go ahead and place an iron on patch in the front as it is trending right now. The hat was great for that. The hat wasn’t too big or too small and fit around my head perfectly. The only thing I will say is that the hat is pretty delicate and when wearing it you can let it bend or else the little straws will break.

this is a good option for sun protection. Runs big. Good value for money but not A Lack Of Colour Hat ($150).

The hat itself and cute and wouldhave been perfect, which is why I gave any stars at all. But shipping took longer than stated, and someone decided it would be a good idea to ship it in a bag….? So by the time it arrived it was completely damaged. It was bent and mis-shapen, and so much of the straw had already snapped, so it looks completely wonky on my head, even if I were going to attempt to wear it. My husband ordered a similar hat but quicksilver brand and it came nicely preserved in a box with an inner piece of cardboard to keep the hat centered in place. Wish this shipper would do something similar cause it’s a total waste of an otherwise pretty great hat.

Very poor quality! You'd think that being Billabong, the company would over see production and quality of their brand items. Not with this hat! Unfortunately, it seems very cheaply made in China! Sorry Billabong! You are slowly loosing my confidence in your product! Also, for a WOMANS hat it is sized on the larger side, which was another disappointment! I read the reviews, but gave it a shot anyway! So, DON'T! Save your money on this one!

Straw is flimsy and easily breaks.

I probably wore this hat less than a dozen times this summer and it’s separating at the stitching. Such a disappointment.

Looks nice but the hat is huge. My head is average size but this hat has a solid extra inch of room.

I’ve had this for a month, worn it a couple of times and it’s already falling apart.
