Doesn't even work on my NUC6CAYH. The adapter does ...
Doesn't even work on my NUC6CAYH. The adapter does not show up in lsusb on Debian, and Windows 10 lists it as an unrecognized device. I've been on email with Pulse-Eight support from May to September 2017, they've admitted that the adapter has NOT been tested with Apollo Lake NUCs despite listing them as a supported platform and they got a NUC from Intel only after I've reported the issue. Pulse-Eight has published a firmware update in late August (available only as a Windows executable, I mean come on!?) which I have been unable to flash since the device is not recognized by the OS in the first place! I'd RMA it, but shipping it back would be too much trouble. Maybe if you buy a new device it will come flashed with the proper firmware, but who knows.Short story: doesn't work, virtually nonexistent support. Wouldn't buy again.

No native support. Doesn't work without an extremely buggy app installed and running. It only seems to send data and not receive anything. Meaning it does function to turn the TV on and off, but you cannot use the TV remote to adjust volume or Pause/Play on the NUC. Also, if your TV is on another input and your computer goes to sleep, it will still send signal to the TV to turn it off. There is no polling done first to check if it is on the active input.I would like to see the app updated (very old) to include support for using the TV's remote, specifically for standard Media Center control.
