Element5 24 can Cooler, Black

I have a friend who brings his lunch to work daily. I would watch him juggle plastic bags of salad, drinks, breakfast and all the other assorted dodads someone needs when they're going to spend 9 hours at work. His birthday was coming up so I thought I'd do him a favor and pick up a nice large cooler to pack his stuff into. I use one myself and know how handy they are to have. This cooler has some really nice features. Double zipper, hard sides so your food doesn't get smashed accidentally, nice big size for breakfast, lunch, drinks, silver wear and all your other stuff that goes along with it. The pocket in the front is great for silver wear and flat candy bars (lol). The inside is large enough to put two huge tupperwear containers. It also has a quick grab opening at the top so you can just reach in and grab something instead of having to open the zipper up. It's a really great cooler!

Had one 9 years old which developed a leak. Still worked good, except would leak when using ice. About 80% of the time we use frozen water bottles and then drink them as they thaw. We went back to Acadmey where we had bought it and all they had was super cheap, and poorly made ones, and a $300 Yeti. Tried the Yeti and did not like the price or how hard it was to access. The smaller velcro hole on this is just perfect for fast access. Took the yeti back for a full refund and found this on Amazon. Sure it doesn't keep ice as long, but we only need a days worth for our sporting activities and we are either home or at a hotel after that to fill up again.

Great cooler. Had same one before, it lasted many years, love the non-seamed liner. Finally the liner cracked. Actual dimensions of this cooler are 9" wide x 12" wide x 11" tall, smaller than the listed dimensions, but same as our previous cooler.

I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my sister in law who has severe diet restrictions and must bring her own food where ever she goes. This product is large enough to accomodate a full days worth of meals for her and it keeps her food cold even with a small cold pack. She can fit several salad containers with enough room for fruit and even her small (looks like milk but not milk) drink containers. After a few weeks of use there is no wear and tear on the container and she appears to use it almsot everday so I think durability is not an issue. (I will repost if this changes and she complains in the next few months)She loves this and is really happy with it. The size is perfect for someone who is looking to keep a days worth of food cool, or just looking to tote around 24 cans of bee...err liquid.

We love this cooler. We purchased it specifically to take to the NASCAR race in July because of the soft-sided construction. When I read that it had an "easy-access" door in the top I was sold. When it was time to use the cooler, we loaded it with about 20 cans and had lots of room for ice. We really liked the "easy-access" door in the top instead of unzipping the whole lid just to get one can out. The velcro that is attached to the door in the lid is very tight and snug. The insulation inside the cooler is better than most. It kept our cans cold on a 90+ degree night. The straps are sewn on tight and the shoulder strap is adjustable. We are very happy with this cooler.

We like that this cooler has both a zipper and a little trap door in the top for two ways to get at your food. It is tall and narrow, so it fit great in our car, without taking up too much room. You'd be surprised how much food fits in it. The inside can be wiped out.Unfortunately, the zipper broke, so now it's useless.

I use it for a lunch bag, I work long shifts so it gets stuffed with 2 meals, books, trade magazines what not. It has held up very wellafter 3 months of hard daily use and often it has 8 or 9 pounds total load in it. The blue lining material really holds up and is easy to clean. My only concern is the zipper, no real problems yet but I think that will be the first thing to wear out. If it keeps holding up under my abuse for a year or two I will buy it again. Oh yeah, it keeps things cool!

I'm really disappointed in this cooler. It looks good, holds a lot, and does an Ok job at keeping cold. However, unfortunately one of the two zippers broke on me the first time I used it. Now, I could live with the zipper issue, but for the life of me I can't understand how there is no shoulder pad on a cooler with this much capacity (which means obviously it could become quite heavy when full). It became very uncomfortable to carry very quickly, I even had those hickey looking marks on my shoulder just from carrying from the hotel to the beach. I'll definitely be keeping this one at home next time..maybe ok for the backyard barbecues.
