M.A.C Pro Longwear Paint Pot- Layin' Low

Many years ago i saw a friend who’s eye makeup never smudge. I asked what her secret was & she told me about this. So, I’ve used this product for years. I use it on my eye lid, and under my eye. It’s perfect. I’ve tried other products bc i don’t always want to spend the money but I can’t find anything else worthy. It’s one of those products that i just need.

Update: I forgot to add in my original review, the Mac Paint pots are technically considered to be primer and/or cream shadow. I am using them as primer and they are working wonderfully. HOWEVER, I did try a couple of the shimmery pots and did not like them on my mature eyes. (I am 55). I didn't not like how the shimmery ones looked. (I tried Bare Study and Vintage Selection. I thought these both looked crepey on my eyes).The ones that I am loving are "Painterly" and "Soft Ochre" with my favorite being "Painterly". They go on smooth and look great under my eye shadow. I will be sticking with these two so long as they are available :)___________________________________I was a regular user or urban decay eye primer for years. I became disenchanted with them when they decided to add a doe-foot applicator in the tube, taking the place of where product should be.I recently heard that this mac product could be a good eye shadow primer. I am pleasantly surprised. It works great. Eye shadow shows well on it. It also does great job of even-ing out the skin tone of my eyelids. It doesn't crease at all. Goodbye Urban Decay :)

This really helps around the eyes, under eye and on lid. It makes skin even. I use over moisturizer and under make up.

I like the color and the way it last

I have a worn powder eyeshadow for years, but recently made the change to this product, and I love it! Why did it take me so long to discover this eyeshadow? This lasts all day and night long. Until you take it off. The color is great as well. No creases just beautiful coverage.

Love this product for underneath my eye shadow, it will make your eyeshadow last all day long, you only have to use a little bit and will last a long time

i ordered this color to use as a primer on my lids before my eye shadow and it’s great.. eyeshadow didn’t crease or disappear. product is smooth and easy to apply, absolutely recommend

I gave it five stars because it is a great product just too dark and warm for me. I gave it to my daughter and will order bare canvas. Love this product for an eyeshadow primer.
