These are pretty decent, but after a short time, the "shock guard bumpers", which are where the handles hit as they close together, collapsed, so the jaws would "over close". Contacted the manufacturer thru their on-line warranty system and thought I'd never hear back, but they stepped up and made it right!Knocked down to 4 stars due to needing the warranty, but otherwise they are very nice.

This pair of sheers cuts well, is not too heavy and is resistant to rust, which I only know because I left them outside too often, whoops.

Home Depot had many items, but the sheers at HD were not up to par. These are very good. You can cut pencil sized branches easily. When cutting 20+ pencil sized woody plants you're going to have to open up the sheers all the way to get some momentum. Might take 1x-2x swings. For traditional boxwood that is approx 10 hairs thick, this cuts it like butter. Looks easy to sharpen too which is what I wanted. I hate the wavy blades that look like bread knives.

Have ye a trial run. Size and fit is good under hand comfort.

I received a defective hedge trimmer the first time, but Amazon was speedy in returning the original and sending out a new trimmer. The process was simple. I have now trimmed my lantana up properly. The clippers are easy to use and do a fine job of trimming bushes. I'm glad that I purchased this product.

Shears were extra sharp and worked well. Very comfortable handles too.
