Great value for a great activity. The plaster is hard and takes quite a bit of work. I hammered a few cracks into it to get my daughter started and it entertained her all afternoon. Really great looking model skeleton. My only complaint was the pieces aren’t as flexible as the seller’s picture makes out. I accidentally broke one of the arms trying to push it into its slot. Also the tools they provide were much higher quality than some Kits I’ve had before. The hammer has some weight to it.TL:DR 5 star kit, just use some caution when assembling.

This is a great product!y son has been really into the National Geographic dog kits and I came a cross this one for a good price and thought what the heck let’s give it a try.its no different than the other kits except that I got it for less money! Very satisfied

My mom bought me this product and I really enjoyed placing the fossils together, this product though, was hard to put together because the holes were not fitting, I loved using the tools that didn’t break, this was a great experience!😁

We got a few of these for a birthday party. Having kids hammering away at this took up a good 30-45 mins. Well worth the mess it makes. We did this in our driveway and it just sprays off with a hose. Just to mention this, the picture shows a fully assembled dino being excavated....that will not be the case ;) These are individual plastic bone pieces. So if you have multiple kits make sure to keep them separate and organized or you will be experiencing a true paleontology dino puzzle (which is also cool if that is your thing)

Took about an hour for my almost 5 year old to get through this. Tons of messy fun.Downside the piece for his leg did break. Be very careful getting them out and putting them together. The dinosaur is plastic and digging it out at times wasn’t super easy to do.

Im not a fan of the whole culture of surprise toys for kids, but with this, you know you are getting some kind of cool dinosaur model in the end, so not knowing what kind of dinosaur is inside, until you slowly find each peace by digging and brushing, is really a part of the fun. Makes it a good gift to buy again in the future as well.

Son loved it and he played for days. With it like adult took him a good week hes 5

The tools are nice but that’s about it. The skeleton won’t stay together when you stand it up. My husband had to super glue it. The description was also a little misleading. This is for one small fossil so the price wasn’t worth it when comparing to other digging fossil kits. I give two stars because my son liked the tools.
