This is a budget mechanical keyboard, and you must keep that in mind when reviewing it. It does not have cherry mx switches, but a clone switch. However they behave very similarly to cherry mx blue switches. I use my keyboard primarily for work, and I have been very happy with the typing performance (typing properly, not hunting and pecking). I do not like the font used on the key caps though, as some of the keys are a little more difficult to read than I would like. The programmable lighting mode is a nice touch.Of course, since this is a budget board you don't have a detachable USB cable, USB passthrough, super heavy duty steel construction (although there is some steel in here), and the other trappings of more expensive models. Still it has a good weight to it, feels solid, has minimal deck flex, and I like the wrist wrest. All in all I've very happy with this keyboard and I would buy it again.

BEST BANG FOR BUCK BY FAR! I am really happy with this keyboard. Keys have a very satisfying click to them without being overly noisy. The cord is a braided cloth cord. It's nothing revolutionary but it shows the quality in this keyboard. It is also HEAVY! The space bar depresses evenly if you press on the right or the left of it. That's a pet peeve of mine that even keyboards costing a lot more sometimes suffer from. The LED's have several presets, like Breathing, an a oscilloscope style pulse, my favorite is the function that causes a ripple effect around keys that you press. There is also a WASD light up style for gaming and one that lights keys as you press them. Not very useful but it's still cool looking.The LED's can also be dimmed. This keyboard also has a perfect amount of pressure required to strike a key. I hope in the future they make one with multi colored LED's

For the money this is the best keyboard you can buy in my opinion. Everything about it screams quality, and that was a pleasant surprise considering the price tag. Metal back plate, included wrist wrest, fully mechanical,red LED lit, braided chord etc. I couldnt pass it up.Im an enthusiast gamer and I can tell you its just as responsive as any high dollar unit Ive used in the past. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone interested in a high quality mechanical keyboard with just a few bells and whistles for the fraction of the price of the name brand.

Just got this, so not sure about durability yet. First impression is good with the exception of the wrist rest. Could not get it to actually stay connected to the keyboard. This magnet attachment design leaves something to be desired.Also note that there is no way to turn OFF the backlighting altogether. Has multiple modes, but none of them allow you to turn the LEDs off.

Ok this is what I wanted!! ther connector cord is made of a cloth, just like the old irons did.Winner for sure.this is beyound 5 starts. I am appendeding my review, it is still fantastic!

This thing is great! Genuine Cherry keys, PBT caps, backlighting AND side lighting, with six light profiles to choose from for $65? Fantastic.

Nice feeling mechanical action, but the keys seem oddly tall/elevated. Nice lighting too!

Excellent product, I'm an avid gamer and was looking to purchase a Corsair or Razer mechanical keyboard, I was upgrading from my razer deathstalker and have to say you get the equal performance with the lack of RGB lighting (which I wanted at first however upon receiving this keyboard realized the red was sexy as could be) would recommend over any similarly priced keyboard on the market!
