It states on the bag do not use high heat, so what setting are you supposed to use?

I use it on standard microwave heat at four minutes Perfect Every Time

Can I use it for food items other than a potato?

I would not recommend this product… I tried with only 1 potato, it never would cook, and the bag smelled as if it were burning

Do you still need to poke holes in the potato?

I don't poke holes in the potatoes.

How long do you cook corn?

Hi so I don’t know exactly but the bags say do not use on High. And not to use for longer than 4 minutes at a time…so I would just experiment with some corn I also just take a potato, stick it in the bag and then use the “Potato “ setting on my microwave oven and it works fine. I have not tried corn yet. Good luck.
