Womens Mexican Blouse Tehuacan Light Manta

My blouse just arrived, and it's truly lovely! I live in San Antonio, Texas, and purchased it for an upcoming Fiesta event this month. Knowing and having seen these style of blouses before, I knew that they run a little large. I use to live in Laredo, right on the Mexican border, and shop at a Mexican souvenir shop that sold similar blouses. I am 5' 10", and around 145-150 lbs. I normally wear a medium in shirts/blouses, but I purchased a small, knowing that with my Amazon prime, I could always return it if needed. The fit is perfect, and the quality is wonderful. It's not as long as it might be on a shorter person, covering some of the rear, since I am tall, but it also isn't short. The tag says that it is handmade in Mexico. I purchased the blue blouse, since the material is gauze-like, and so it wouldn't be as see through as a white one.

This Mexican Blouse is absolutely perfect! It is a gauzy cotton which has proven to be lightweight, cool and comfortable. This blouse is 100% cotton, not a blend. The needlework is vivid and bright and quite lovely. I bounce back and forth between a medium and a large size in tops. Having read other reviews I decided to go with the medium and the fit is great. the blouse reaches the bottom of my bottom. So if you like coverage across your tummy and hips, this does it.. I would have been okay if it was a little shorter. The bodice comes down right to the top of the swell of your chest. The sewn in pleats keep the blouse from being too full and tent-like. I have received many compliments to the point where a few ladies have asked me to send them the link! I have not washed it yet, but plan to wash separately in cold water and hang to dry because it it 100% cotton.

Cute shirt. Fits a little bigger around the waist area but it was expected for the type of shirt. I got a size medium but I usually wear a size large in shirts and it fit perfect. The quality is nice

The fabric is very, very sheer and my guess is after two washes it’s going to struggle to keep the fresh look and design. I will update this if I am pleasantly surprised by how it wears. Also. The design is lovely. But for whatever reason they chose a type of thread that glistens like something you would see in a shirt you buy in the dime store that in my view cheapens the entire look of the shirt. It makes the Garnett look inexpensive.

This top is perfect! Fits a bit large so size down. The detail on the blouse is beautiful.

Was afraid shirt would fit snug for a medium but fit great and still roomy. Did have to wear an undershirt, but still loved the design.

I normally order a medium but ordered a small thanks to other reviews. The small works out really well. I love that this is the real deal — made in Mexico and not a knock off from China.

Rougher opaque fabric than expected. Embroidery is nice.
