M1 Garand Fleece Lined Canvas Case with Carry Strap Marked JT&L 1942 Khaki Color

This canvas rifle case is good quality. It even has that classic smell of an arms room the US army would typically store rifles in.

I like the feel of this case. The outer canvas is very heavy duty and the brass zipper slides well. The inner fleece is thick and will do a very good job of protecting your rifle. I use it for my M1 Garand and it fits perfectly. Just wish they would have had more in stock when I wanted to order a second one for my other M1. I had to order another brand and the difference in quality is night and day. This one is top notch.

This isn't a heavy-duty case. It's mostly a novelty, adequate for my needs. I applied several treatments of Scotchguard spray to make it more weather-repellant. Good, heavy zipper. Padding is lighter than a case I bought years ago at K-mart, and has no handles. I suspect the actual mil-spec one it copies was much heavier for battlefield use. I'm satisfied, since I don't expect to use it in rigorous conditions. I bought a 'tanker' pistol holster from World War Supply a couple of years ago and it's holding up well-their stuff is good quality for the price. (PS: No idea where it was made, no markings anywhere I could find.)

This is a pretty decent remake of the WWII canvas cases. I imagine that the white fleece will gray and discolor over time, but that doesn't really matter. It is a quick and easy case for not a bad price.
