These books are plain and useful. The pages are unlined and ivory colored, with a certain degree of heft. When I wrote with an inky pen and a marker, they did not bleed through the pages at all! I also painted with watercolor pencils inside the book, and though I had to be careful to use very little water, the pages wrinkled very little and did not flake. The cover is a solid material, and stays nice even with some wear and tear. The binding is sewn, and each book has 30 pages, which was more than enough for me. The book is a portable size without being excessively small, a little larger than my hand. I would recommend these books as journals, notebooks, sketchbooks, or anything else you would like to use them as!

If you are looking for a good Travelers notebook insert bullet Journal insert or SketchBook just a nice notebook that will be able to handle whatever you throw at it this is it trust me. I got these notebooks expecting them to be decent but on the cheaper quality side I have already reordered three more times both a single pack and double pack I use them for both my bullet journal and my sketchbooks and I work with brush pens and fountain pens and ink and watercolor there is some ghosting and if I'm really really heavy with the water or with the Liquid Ink there might be a little bit of Color Show not really but not really any bleed through certainly not enough to transfer on to the next page maybe to show through on the back of the pager working on but not bleed through into the next page I'm so impressed with these books and I am so happy with them the colors perfect the sizes perfect the notebooks are just simply perfect.

Love these I have been wanting to learn to draw the paper isn't to thin like some others works great for drawing and is big enough to do work on but small enough to pack around. Its lightweight the cardboard style covers are cool actually they hold up really well and can be fun to draw on and customize. The binding is held together well. Worth the great price 100% gonna be getting more of these for my art journey.

These are nice, though I think the $7.98 price point is a little high. The paper is slightly thicker than some notebooks I’ve seen. Might work okay for an art journal if you glue 2 or 3 pages together. Corners are rounded, which is a nice touch.

I recently purchased this for my upper elementary classroom 4-6th graders and I love them. We are using them for our scientific journals. The paper is sturdy enough for the kids to blend their colored pencils and add shading. I have not used watercolor on it yet, but it seems to be thick enough to tolerate a LIGHT wash. I do store them separate and pass them out for use when needed, so the covers are staying nice, my guess is that the covers would take a beating in backpacks and classroom bins, but for the value, it's all good!

Size was skinnier than I expected but otherwise these are great. Maluable enough to fold as desored, paper is thick enough ink doesn't bleed through - and they are sleeker looking than most notepads so they add a bit of professionalism
