I liked the idea of this piece of kit for making wooden frames/supports for climbing plants. I used it for the first time yesterday and when I was releasing one of the clamps, it snapped off (it was very stiff and difficult to engage). I improvised and just put in a screw ( see picture above) but I have little faith that the other clamps will last any length of time. Not sure how the issue could be corrected - possibly a metal clamp or a less stuff hinge? On the positive side, I can still use it and have completed the frames/job I started.Buyers just need to be aware of potential parts failures.

This will allow precise straight and angled cuts, but it's fairly weak. The clips on the clamps are quite stiff and both bottom clips snapped in half the first time I used it, which means I'll have to remove them and use proper clamps in future. The top clamps aren't as stiff, so maybe I got a dud. On the plus side, the angles are accurate, the slots are not too wide and it has let me complete the job I bought it for. It also has holes so I can screw it to a workbench.

Decent mitre block to be honest, nice and vibrant so we won't lose it like everything else! Good size and the added clamps are good although they're a little stiff to move. Could do with grip underneath but you can screw it down which we will be doing so not an issue. For the price its not bad, I've paid similar for worse products! It does the job and that's the main thing.

Do not bother. This is just pure rubbish. Cutting Polystyrene coving was a struggle. Way to much movemeent in 45 deg cut.

Does what it say's it'll do. Allows me to cut angles easily and it's easy to clamp down to a workbench. Very pleased with it. They say if you have the right tools for a job, the job gets done correctly the first time around. Wish I found this sooner.

Fantastic piece of equipment - save having to keep setting up my chop saw, every time I need to make a quick cut. The cut accuracy is consistent each time I have used it, and the product is made from strong material. Very happy with this purchase!
