Assembly requires humor (and wine)
Are you tired of everything going your way? Do you need more stress in your life? Does drinking wine make stupid seem better? If you answered YES to any of these questions then this is the product for you!It clearly wasn't labeled by anyone with a visual understanding of the alphabet and I think it's fair to say the hole driller was a bit cross eyed. Once I was able to sort out the confusion, partially unassemble, and drill out some holes, it started to come together.Don't expect to get those last two hex bolts in the center holes. Just don't. It'll be ok. Take a deep breath, pour a glass of wine, and move on.As an added bonus, from using the hex wrench, you won't have any feeling in you fingers for a while. Just a gentle reminder of the fun you had while you pour yourself another glass of wine. That said, the finished product looks decent and will serve the purpose it was designed for.Cheers!

Affordable solid wood
I recommend doing bare pine for a cheap option. Looks way better than plastic or lacquer. And most damage or stains can be sanded out, and you can always finish it when you want to spiff it up. Plastic and lacquer inevitably chips and breaks and can't be easily repaired. As others have said, some of the bolts don't line up well with the pre-drilled holes as you assemble it. It's true, you just have to force it. You'll need strong hands, or two people perhaps. But it turns out just fine. It's nice and sturdy and looks good in the room. Again, best affordable storage item I've seen.I wish there were slats on the very top, but you can easily nail some wood across it for more storage.Beware the crumbly foam packaging.

Super cute and frees up space
This wardrobe is so cute!! I wanted more space in a room without feeling like a traditional wardrobe would be bulky and take up more space, and this open wardrobe is perfect for that. Everything came in one piece, no pieces missing and it was a breeze to install. Super sturdy too! We have a kitten (in the picture) that climbs up quite literally everything in the house, and this wardrobe is definitely not flimsy; it’s more than strong enough to hold him lounging up on the shelves. I can fit a lot more clothes on here than I initially thought, which was a great surprise. I did add the gray hanging storage in the picture though, that doesn’t come with the wood wardrobe itself. The wood is plain pine, which is perfect because I plan on painting or staining it another color soon! Would totally recommend this.

Great when it’s not defective.
Bought 2 of these. First one came out perfect. Assembled in less than an hour with no issue. I liked it so much I bought another one. Unfortunately, the second one was a nightmare. None of the holes were lining up, holes were placed on opposite side of where it needs to be. After over an hour trying to assemble with all its issues, I got to putting the shelves and the holes were on the opposite side of where it needs to be, making the shelves crooked downwards. It’s a great item but you have to get lucky there are no defects.

What a nice darn wardrobe!
I purchased a discounted unit because of the damaged packaging, so I was already expecting some minor issues if not more. When I opened it, counted all the pieces and found that no damage was to be seen I was super excited. The instructions state that this is a 30 minute assembly, they are wrong, unless you have an electrical drill to assemble with, but I didn't find it difficult to follow the instructions. My biggest complaint was that it was missing two precut screw holes for two of the shelves. This would have been easily fixed had I had a power drill, but I'm a resourceful gal, I used a few wall nails and hammered them into place. No biggie for me though, still does the job. It is on the wobbly side but that may be due to the nailed pieces versus them being screwed. I still love the wardrobe though! Its definitely a piece of furniture to add character to any room instead of just being a makeshift closet. I ran out to get some teal paint and some matching foldable box drawers and it is cute as a button! My sister and niece loved it so much that they bought one for each of them. I'm glad I took a risk buying the discounted unit because it makes the find that much better. Gave it 4 stars just because of the missing holes, other than that, I couldn't be happier!
