GAVE IT AS GIFT, NOT SURE HOW THEY LIKED IT

I was afraid to try maple syrup, it was expensive and some had said 'not really good'. I had read about the production of syrup in Vermont and did more research about the different grades and color characteristics. I found this in a grocery store and tried a small bottle. Since I was already an Amazon customer, I checked them and found it at a better price than the local store. I will NEVER buy regular syrups again. This is delicious and takes so much less to get a wonderful flavor. Unless you like a very strong maple flavor, the dark amber is a good choice between strong and very mild.

It's Grade A. That means its okay, not great, just okay. Compared to most any Grade B, it will taste weak. It would be perfect for people who don't like maple syrup.

If I'm going to indulge in the calories and labor to make and eat a pancake or waffle breakfast, I'm not going to put fake maple syrup or any product with corn syrup on the breakfast. The last bottle of maple syrup I bought (a different brand but very highly recommended) was given to my daughter after I tasted it. It was dull and flat and just tasted very sweet in a maple sort of way.Maple Grove Farms maple syrup dark amber has life and flavor and is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Excellent syrup. Organic syrups in my local stores are very expensive and in small packages. This is the second time I've purchased this syrup and it's excellent and will buy again. My family loves this real syrup instead of the HFC fake syrup.

This maple syrup is the best. It has a lighter taste than the kinds I've found on the grocers' shelves. It is just sweet enough and not so heavy and overly sweet tasting as the others. I cannot imagine being without this Maple Grove brand pure maple syrup in the future. Your pancakes will be a new experience with it and you'll be planning to have more pancakes again soon.

This syrup had a nice clean, light taste. It was not that sugary but the maple flavor came through. I did my own comparison taste testing with my kids. I used two different ones (Aunt Jemima and Log Cabin) that I had in the pantry. Hands down, this one was the winner with everyone in the house. I will be buying this again!

Love maple syrup on pancakes. The dark amber has a slightly bolder taste than amber maple syrup. Not overpowering, but a nice smooth flavor. Pure syrup without other additives. Will buy more when I start to run low.
