A quality vice, and a stand-up company.
I came back to edit my review after the company stood behind their product, and their repairs. I had a little issue with a screw on the vise (which was replaced generously with multiple screws), but customer service being kind, understanding, and extremely fast goes an incredible distance with me.The vice holds a variety of sizes which is great for my saltwater flies, while it even holds down to small nymph and midge sized hooks. I actually used it today as a travel vice, and it was not cumbersome to pack, it was easy to use, and it was a pleasure to tie on. The bobbin holder attachment is an incredible add on for some trickier chinelle wraps, and the rotary arm really had helped me in ways my old vice simply couldn't.Bottom line is all items will break, but a company that is there for you and takes care of your needs is the best kind of company to support. I'll definitely recommend others towards this product, thanks to the team at Byron.

Quality for the money
Some reviews here say that it sits low… I suppose it does, but that does not get in the way of tying.. I like this vice. It is quality in my opinion. 100% would recommend to a friend.

Doesn’t last, invest in a good vice not this
Jaw gets deformed after a year; tightening screw strips in jaw. Doesn’t hold the hook anymore.About to buy my 3rd vice after thinking this was going to be quality. Buying renzetti from day one would have saved me $200

Impressive vise
Was very impressed when I received the vise. It comes in a nice case. All parts were intact. It took about 5-10 minutes to get it initially dialed in and I was tying. It’s very sturdy and seems well built. I researched a lot of rotary vices, expensive and cheap and this one caught my eye for the price point and apparent quality. Very happy with the purchase so far and would recommend to others.

Broken Vice
The case was fine when I received the new one but the vice head itself will not hold a hook. The interior spring stays rotating no matter how much you try to tighten it down. It will not work at all.

Second rotary vise- so far working fine.
The vise is well made and does what I want it to. Maybe someday I will want a Renzetti or a Dyna-King, but for now and for the money I am very happy with this one.
