Both this Muji Pencil and it’s counterpart, the ball point, are ergonomically fantastic on all accounts. Both are light weight (aluminum), comfortable to the hand and continues to be while writing, and the ball point is so smooth. On top of that you have a super quality made product with an illustrious design at a price waaaay below it’s worth. If the rating goes up to 5 stars then these are easily a ten! Great seller! This pencil gets lead stuck in it every time and it’s so flimsy it stops working. Yes I’m using the right size lead from muji. I hate that it’s comfortable but there’s no point if it’s not functional

I write extensively for lectures and really appreciate a mechanical pencil that is pleasing ergonomically and aesthetically. This mechanical pencil really looks sleek and pleasing; however, compared to more common mechanical pencils, is rigid and hard to grasp if you have a tighter grip or get sweaty palms/fingers. Another thing is that the led breaks easily, regardless of how much lead is protruding past the lead guard. Overall, it is a good pencil aesthetically but can use a bit more modification on build to make it a better pencil.
