Great way to archive magazines
The edge strips fit a standard 11 inch height, or smaller, magazine. Open the magazine to the center spine and feed into the slot in the edge strip. Simple. The edge strips fit a three ring binder. While there is some "play" of the edge strip in the three ring binder, if a sufficient number of magazines are stored in the binder, they mutually support each other and the binder and edge strips work together to hold the magazines properly in place. Storage is uniform and orderly. To view the magazines, simply open the binder and turn the pages. Magazines are easily accessible. The edge strips are durable and likely will never give way. This is a product which will safely preserve magazines, forever.Great product, works very well to preserve precious magazines.

Sturdy
I used these to hold folders in a preschool program I was putting together. The folders have the weight of the traditional manila folder; they may be sturdy enough for magazines such as The Nation/TIME/Christian Science Monitor Daily/The New Yorker. They would also be good for crafters organizing the hundred and one booklets that offer two or three projects using a single craft. They are not heavy enough to hold magazines the weight of National Geographic, however. Also, for those that might be confused about the number/packaging: You get 60 holders--five packs, and each pack has 12 holders in it.I found the product number and type perfect for my project.

Great product if you can wait
I have bought these in the past and they work great on my collection of magazines. My husband wanted some so I ordered them and waited almost a month for them to arrive. If you can buy this product elsewhere go to it, the wait was quite frustraing.

Keep your magazines safe SUPER-CHEAP and read them without removing (and losing) them. This is the BEST way!
The *BEST* way to store magazines and newsletters so they don't get wrecked. You simply open up the issue to the middle, slide it through the slot, close the issue, and stick this edge strip in a 3-ring binder! You'll never lose an issue again because you don't even have to remove it to read it! (I keep my most important ones in a file cabinet, as hanging by the binding, or stacking, seems the least-destructive way to keep a magazine short of a glass museum case!)Magazines get wrecked edges in traditional cases, especially plastic! Worse, if you're tempted to put them on a bookshelf, you'll be sorry if you get flooded in a big storm! (Happened to me, lost irreplacable out-of-print gems and lots of years of others!)

NOTE: Magazine sizes greater than a standard sheet of paper WILL NOT FIT!
Magazines vary slightly in size. These holders will fit up to 8.5"x11" - the size of standard printer paper. My needs were for a slightly larger dimension which required cutting the inside edge of the holders in order to accommodate the periodicals.Quality is mediocre - it's thin plastic that is very flexible. It doesn't easily break, but I don't have much confidence that this product is a long-term solution.Still, this solved my immediate problem. I won't reference the material much, so hopefully it will last.

Invaluable
Having seen these in a library while stationed in Germany and liked the concept. Having need of such now, looked up and ordered. Instead of having magazines stacked I now can put in binders for easier access and labeling.

These work great in a 3-ring binder to hold magazines
These work great in a 3-ring binder to hold magazines, leaflets or any item you wish to have mounted for protection. Love that it is a set of 5 packages with a dozen strips in each package. So convenient to get enough to house all my issues of magazine and leaflets that I had collected over the years. So happy they are now protected and not laying around loose. And the cost of buying a set of 5 packages was great!! Saved a lot of money doing it that way. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Does well what it’s designed to do
This product allowed me to put my entire collection of N Scale Railroading magazines into standard 3-ring binders for safekeeping. Since this magazine is a bimonthly title, I am able to put a full year of 6 issues into 1” binders. I just need to scan the magazine's logo and print out labels for the spines. ;-)
