Honda HRR216 Series Tune-Up Kit (Serial Range MZCG-8000001 to MZCG-8669999)

The thinner blade is correct. The thicker blade does not have the deep swoop at the end of it that my factory Honda blade has. It looks exact other wise. I’m thinking the swoop is to generate air lift when mulching. I’m a bit bummed now because I’ll have to get a whole new blade which will make this kit plus another blade just not worth it. The description says it fits my HRR2169VKA but fit and exact duplicate are two different things. I’d like the exact blade. My filter OE filter is green, this one is white. The box says NGK for the plug but not the plug. Everything was new so it may have been boxed wrong.

The blade arrived VERY dull. As in so dull, if you hit your arm with it, it would break your arm before it broke the skin. I took a file to it and it sharpened very fast... too fast... as in I kept thinking it was aluminum with how soft of metal it was. Mowed with it once and didn't hit anything and the blade was already dinged up.This isn't a steal at $35, it's a ripoff.

Everything fit well. Nice to have all of these parts in one package.Only gripe is that the blades, while new, are NOT sharp. Not even close. I had to sharpen them myself. I'm not sure why Honda would sell new blades that aren't even close to sharp, but just food for thought. Be prepared to sharpen them yourself if you want anything resembling a healthy lawn.

This is a great set for the moneyAlthough before purchasing make sure it fits your HRR216 Mower, although title says for HRR216, this kit doesnt fit all of them. Blades are different.Found out the hard way, now I have to pay shipping returns if I want my money back.I have a HRR216 mower but my model comes with bigger blades. N this blades are smaller in width.

Purchased during a deal as it was just what I needed, full price I likely wouldn't purchase, but it sure is nice to have an extra blade ready to go. The kit had everything needed for a standard over-winter tune up. I ended up painting my mower and expect it to be a well running prize this summer.

The oil weight was correct as was the correct amount by volume . The spark plug was also correct, all of that was great. But the blades did not install correctly (the center hole was much to large and it just would not install correctly). I may have done something wrong with the the blades but there was not any instructions or information or tips in this regard. So I sharpened and used the old blade, which came with my mower and it is fine...so I paid for and received two blades that i can not use not to mention the additional cost in shipping and taxes. I am not happy about this at all.

Decent price for Honda genuine parts. I wish they had a kit without the blades though. My blades have held up well with occasional sharpening.

Easy to install and made a world of difference in the engine running smoothly. Also the new blade cuts the grass the without fraying. A nice clean cut.
