This safe is exactly as described. I didn't experience the issues setting it up that other reviews mentioned. There is a QR code right on the instructions that links directly to the setup video and the app setup. I honestly can't see how anyone had issues with setup.The safe looks the part, and I've received several positive comments on how sharp it looks. It is small and light enough to place just about anywhere, but it offers durability and safety. It would be extremely difficult to get into this safe in any way that isn't intended. The door opens smoothly and quickly. It is quiet and can be completely muted if you don't want the 'welcome' noise to notify you that it is open (I find this feature helpful when opening it with the app if you're not looking directly at the safe or in view of it).The interior space is ample for my Glock 19-sized clone, two magazines, a Colt King Cobra 2", and a speedloader.I recommend this for anyone in need of this style of safe.

I've had this safe for a few days now and so far everything is working as it should. Set up fingerprints with no problem, access code with no problem, set up the app with an Android phone and that is working as it should as well. The key with setting up the app with an Android phone is to make sure Bluetooth and location are both on, otherwise it won't work. It's a really nice heavy duty safe and it opens virtually immediately with any of the methods you choose to open it. It's plenty big enough for my purposes and it's nicely padded all the way around the inside. Another cool feature is the date and time and battery level. When you set up the app it automatically sets the date and time for you so you don't need to manually do it. It obviously syncs the date and time from your phone to the safe. There's a lot of technology built into this safe and app. If anything changes I'll update this review, but so far I couldn't be more impressed and pleased with this purchase. I did have some questions before I purchased this safe so I reached out to customer service and they were very responsive with answering all my questions. I'm just really impressed with everything about the safe and customer service, couldn't ask for more.Edit/Update:I just want to comment on some other reviewers that are having problems. The default when the safe is new is for any fingerprint to open the safe. You absolutely must set an administrator fingerprint to secure the safe for specific biometric fingerprint access. Also, one of the really great features of this particular safe is that you have to scan your fingerprint six times before it will take. That is a huge Plus, don't buy a biometric safe that only requires three scans. When you scan your fingerprint six times, you should turn your finger slightly each time and move it up and down slightly in different positions. That way your fingerprint doesn't have to be in the exact same position each time. It's a fantastic feature and it works flawlessly. I opted for the larger version of this safe as, among other additional features, this one has dual latches instead of just one.Update 2: I've been using this safe for about 6 weeks now and I open it at least three or four times a day, the vast majority of time using only a finger tip scan. Sometimes I use the six digit code just to check that functionality. I fully charged it when I got it and it is still showing that the battery is fully charged, very impressive. And it's still working as it should, absolutely no issues at all.

I was concerned about having grandkids around my guns of coarse. My last safe was recalled and so I looked for a new one. This one was just what I was looking for. I purchased the brown and it looks great! It’s heavy and good quality. I was worried about not being able to get into it with my finger print. It just seemed not to work every time and I had to push in the code. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I don’t have big hands so I was trying to make sure as much of my finger covered the finger ID plate as possible. I was pushing my finger down which changes how it looks. I stopped doing that and just gently place my finger there and it works every time! It’s always worked for my husband. It will record more than one print and code. It is rechargeable which is great!!! I check it every couple of days to make sure it’s still working. So far I haven’t had to charge it although it has batteries and I suppose maybe it’s just using those? I should maybe look into that and charge it up again. Lol! Regardless, I am more than happy with it! It is large inside. I actually am able to put 3 guns inside. I feel like my grand kids are safe from harm now. The code works well too. You just have to remember to end the numbers with the symbol at the end kind of like when you end a code with a hashtag. So worth its weight in gold to me for peace of mind alone.
