Saved my sanity
For MONTHS, I was plagued by limited flow from my Gaggia Classic Pro. I did everything I could find online. Descale. Descale again. Descale the solenoid valve. Replace the solenoid valve. Nothing worked. Then I saw a video that recommended replacing the pressure basket (the one you use if you don't freshly grind your beans). Found this one online and PRESTO! Works like a charm. For an admitted caffeine addict, this was a life saver. The basket comes with a new pressure plug thing too. Do yourself a favor and buy one. Hell, buy two. They are inexpensive enough.

5 stars because it does as advertised.
I'm giving this pressurized basket 5 stars because it does the job it is intended to do - it fits into a 58mm portafilter (originally that of a Gaggia Classic but I'm using a Rancilio Silvia) and lets you brew some semblance of espresso using preground coffee. I am NOT giving it 5 stars because that means the coffee is excellent - it is not. It is nowhere near proper espresso. However it does everything you'd expect- fits into the machine- the "espresso" has a good layer of crema- the little pin fits into the hole at the bottom of the portafilter (which I wasn't sure it would since I'm not using the original machine it was intended for)- making Café La Llave with it brought me right back to when I first got my first espresso machine and pulled like 6 shots of the stuff and then realized, oh, I just drank 6 cups of coffee, oops.So if you for some reason want to turn your espresso machine into the equivalent of a cheap DeLonghi, maybe so your in laws can make espresso without having to faff about with your grinder and probably mess something up, this will work.

Works great
I had some coffee that didn’t get ground as fine as i needed for my normal basket, but this pressurized basket works great for it.

Good crema... almost 5 stars if shots were even.
I don't know why I threw out the one I bought with my Gaggia Classic, because I love it. It took a while to get here, but this really does a good job making crema happen... One small gripe, since this is used to pull two shots simultaneously, you would think that it would be designed to fill both shots identically. It is pretty impossible to get this to fill both shot glasses perfectly even. So one shot is always fuller than the other.. Not sure if there is any other way to fix this, because I love the crema it makes with even some less then brand new beans...

Fits Expobar espresso machine
My husband bought me a Gaggia espresso machine for the motorhome and I found out about this pressurized filter basket. I loved it in the Gaggia machine so I tried it in my Expobar espresso machine and it works. I don’t have to press the grounds to a certain pressure anymore and the espresso comes out perfect every time. The only thing is that doesn’t wash easily so I use hot water with the espresso machine cleaning powder and let it set for 15 minutes before rinsing very well . Also it’s very important not to loose the little black part, it’s not sold separate
