Good results for me!
I don’t usually write reviews but I’d like to say this supplement has really helped me out. I broke my arm in December and found this supplement recommended in a blog and thought “why not?”. I’ve been taking this for about 2 1/2 months now and would like to credit a fast recovery from my humerus fracture as well as some surprising weight loss. I gained 20lbs after starting a medication and couldn’t seem to lose the weight. I hardly exercised for 2 months after I broke my arm but I’m somehow 10lbs down from where I was in December. Could be partially muscle loss but I’d like to say the supplement keeps me from overeating. Placebo/environmental or not, I’d like to credit the supplement! I will continue taking this.

My positive experience with CQ and a torn rotator cuff
Part 1: Car crash in mid-April tore my left rotator cuff. Been on Alleve/Ibu/XS Tylenol ever since, in steadily declining doses. Got the CQ 2 weeks ago, and was able to get fully off those other products by taking 2 pills of the CQ in morning and 2 at night. Have been continuing gentle isometrics on both arms.In just two weeks, my range of motion has noticeably improved. Before CQ, I could not swing my driver's side car door fully open, but for the past 4-5 days, that has been no problem. Also, changing in and out of a t-shirt has become slightly easier. Again, this is in just two weeks.Unfortunately, my MRI from mid-July shows a FULL tear in the cuff. I have surgery scheduled for mid-October. With that being 2 months away, I will continue to take the CQ and see how it goes. It would truly be a miracle herbal supplement if that surgery and long rehab can be avoided! I'll circle back here and update my review later this fall.(Added 12-8) Part 2: Though the CQ helped, I proceeded with the surgery. I continued taking the CQ with a dose of 2 pills am and 2 pills pm right up until 10 days before my rotator cuff surgery on Oct 12. The surgery was successful, and I began the normal PT routine the next week. Two weeks after surgery, I started back up on the CQ. 3 pills in am and 2 pills in pm. Extra strength tylenol and icing as needed.I want to stress in this next section that all of this is anecdotal and non-scientific. Also, I should stress I've been doing PT sessions twice a week with a very competent therapist and also I feel I am a good patient...I've been good at doing my home exercises and icing as needed. For about 3 weeks now, my physical therapist has made comments about being impressed with my range of motion and has also made comments that I am "ahead of schedule" as to most people with rotator cuff recovery. I also visited the surgeon's office last week for a follow up, and the PA was also impressed with my range of motion. He found himself rechecking the date of the surgery when I was able to raise my arm level with the shoulder and could reach fully behind my waist. His comment was "Wow, keep doing what you're doing."I want to emphasize, I did not take this product for ten days before and two weeks after the surgery, sticking with my pre and post op instructions NOT to take supplements. My gut feeling is the CQ is part of why I am ahead in terms of recovery. However, as I said above, I AM a good patient...doing all else that has been asked. Take from this what you will, but if ever had to do this again, I would take the CQ in exactly the same way.

Solid replacement for Super Cissus
I've had every body pain you can think of so I rely heavily on supplements. For my joints, I took glucosamine and chondroitin for over 4 years. It helps somewhat but my pain is still there. Before I took that I was taking Super Cissus by USP Labs which did wonders. Since it was pretty pricey I decided to switch but it crossed my mind about a month ago so I wanted to start taking that again. However no matter where I went I couldn't find it. I can't find it in any stores, it's not on Amazon, and I see it on shady looking websites that I don't trust. I decided to do some research and realized the only ingredient in Super Cissus was 1600 mg of cissus quadrangularis so I decided to give this a try. After a month I am satisfied with this. It isn't as good as Super Cissus but it's a solid replacement. The main difference between the two is two pills of Super Cissus is 1600 mg while the Cissus Extract is only 1000mg. This doesn't seem that big of a difference but I take 2 servings so Super Cissus was 3200mg while Cissus Extract is 2000 mg. I'm sure if I took 3 servings of Cissus Extract it would be just as good but that means it will last me about 18 days which isn't worth it. Just taking 2000mg I do feel like it's still more effective than glucosamine. I still have some pain and I know supplements isn't going to cure this pain so I am satisfied with how much better my body feels. The only recommendation I would say is to up the dosage amount in two pills.
