Great mid-range phone with a premium feel at a solid price!
A wonderful phone!! Much better than I had anticipated!! I was so tired of getting left behind by Microsoft. After 5+ years on Windows Phone I decided to switch to Android. I borrowed my wife's iPhone for a day or two and it was ok but not much customization available. I had messed around with several cheap Androids just for fun over the years, I loved the fact that they were easy to customize and reminded me of my old beloved Symbian OS! I also found that with Android the hardware selection was amazing. on Windows we only had Nokia and as of late Microsoft and Asus phones available. I saw this Sony XA at Best Buy. I researched it and felt it might be a solid phone, especially at that price. I had to order from Amazon because I wanted Lime Gold. I now have the phone and it is NOT sluggish at all. The battery is pretty good and the screen is wonderful. It may not have the highest resolution screen but it is very clear and bright and the colors really stand out. The camera is not bad either, especially in low light. I am pleasantly surprised by this phone. Well done Sony, and thanks Amazon for carrying this phone in the color that I wanted at a very good price. Best mid-range phone out there. Feels much closer to premium!

I love this phone! And the price, well that you can't beat! β€οΈ
The media could not be loaded. This phone is receiving a bad rap in reviews but in all honesty it's an amazing little phone for half the price of any other android. The screen is absolutely amazing and the camera settings are awesome. Night vision, even one just for pets to capture! I mean they literally thought of everything for this phone for you! I don't know about others but I recieved the entire package, ear buds, phone box, booklets, charger and the super charger box. So I don't know what happened with some customers not getting everything. I paid 84.98 and received it all! Sony definitely hooked it up when they made this phone. And I ADORE the color, never have I ever seen a green-gold colored phone, it's complete unique just how I like things. Many complements on it too. Great π π± phone, worth every single penny. And with the heavy duty outterbox it's sure to do just fine with screen protection. This phone is amazing, don't let a few negative comments deter you. For the money you save it's absolutely worth it. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Avoid at all costs
Update from January 2017: Sony still has no clue when they will repair the phone and refuses to escalate the case. If I could I'd give them negative stars. If Sony can't fix their own phones they need to send a replacement or a refund.Update from 12/12/2016: Sony has had my phone for 2-1/2 weeks now and still no resolution. This is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs, factory warranty is next to useless. From the beginning purchased this phone back on October 19, received October 21. Charged it up, powered it on, and waited while it ran through the myriads of updates. Noticed immediately the battery was rapidly depleting even while plugged in. Battery performance initially was terrible and would only last about 6 hours or regular use without streaming video or playing games. By the 2nd week battery life had improved and I could go a full day, 12 hours or so, as long as I didn't stream or play games. If I stream I can get about 2-3 hours of use from a full battery. Fit and finish of the phone itself is good as is screen clarity.Moving on for those with ATT, it does not have all the required bands for full functionality, at least in Orange County, CA. When it does connect to LTE I literally can't walk 50 feet in any direction without dropping to H or H+, and just the act of pulling emails on H or H+ can be hit or miss.Based on the above I'm giving the phone only a 2. The lack of battery life and ability to connect to ATT is awful. Your mileage may vary with carrier and possibly phone in respect to battery life, but so far my $200 upgrade in budget smart phone has been more downgrade than anything. Luckily I didn't throw my old phone away.Camera is ok... don't expect fast shooting. Works about as good as my old Samsung S3, but it is a budget phone and I could really care less about the camera. Now the fun part, by November 22 the touch sensors for the screen took a dump. Touch would either not register or would receive phantom input making it impossible to do anything. After beating around the bush with Sony tech support for a number of hours trying to do the Xperia companion reset, which by the way you need a working screen in order to use :/, it's headed back to the mothership for warranty repair or replacement. We'll see how this goes....

Exquisite design with commendable performance
Great phone at an attractive price. I am a previous Sony user, and was always fascinated by their designs. But their performance was never really up to the mark and buying a Sony phone somehow felt like a compromise. But this phone has the goods to compete in a fiercely competitive market, with a design that strikes out. Most reviews online say good things about the phone's camera and overall performance, but warn about the battery and low audio output over the speaker. So regarding the battery, I am not a heavy user so it's lasting a day on full charge right now. But it does drain fast if you are gaming or browsing high quality content. People with heavy usage would need to have their charger around. And I also did the software upgrade upon receiving the phone to resolve the batter issue. The speaker volume is good enough for me, and I believe most users should be comfortable with it. Sound Quality is specially good, and output over the earphone is impressive too.
