It can be tricky to use (pistachios all over the floor and counter, and corners!) but i seem to be getting the hang of it. Be careful the lid's little doodads are slipped into the groove as you twist it on. The stuff you want it to chop up has to be already cut up to a certain degree (you'll figure out how much for each veg or nut) Quite exhilarating pulling on the cord holding it in the crook of my arm, striving to help it keep its lid on. Fine chopped onions is a grace. I did get some pistachio nuts ground up fine enough to sprinkle. I am enjoying a bit more each time I learn to use it.

I love this chopper! Makes my kitchen cooking so much easier! I use it for salades, Both fruit and veg, onions to fry and vegetables for soup.

Good for chopping onions, courgettes, carrots etc. You do have to cut the veg up first, but this finishes the job perfectly. Good value for money.

I like the general idea and have used it on a few occasions successfully. The bit I least like is that it feels a bit flimsy. That said it managed to chop what I asked it to do well and it feels relatively stable. I like to use it when I am cooking for just one or two. I really like the fact that it isn’t using electricity. It is very easy to clean the base and blades. I’m still working out the best method to clean the top. It’s fun to use which encourages me to use it. I’m confident I will find additional uses for it. In the main I am pleased. I would have preferred a slightly more substantial feel.

I unfortunately didn't lock the lid properly, I spent 8 hours in A & E after the blade flew out and landed in my hand. But all said and done I absolutely love it, it is amazing at chopping onions.

This is my second Hand Chopper. does the job and takes up less space than most electric models.

Now an essential’s part of my everyday kitchen equipment.
