Catit Design Senses Massage Center

I am a new cat owner to an indoor/outdoor stray who recently adopted me, so I am learning all of this for the 1st time. I searched for some toys online and thought the Hagen products looked very good, well built and had very high ratings. I decided to try 2 of them, the Catit Design Senses Play Circuit & The Pet Massager. My cat is extraordinarily independant and has a very short attention span. He plays with a toy for 1 or 2 minutes and is then off to the next room. So I didn't really know what to expect. My only other purchase so far was a plush cat bed that he snubs his nose at and a scratching board he wont use. Honestly, I didnt know what to expect.When I opened the box I was very pleased to see how well each toy was made. Both were easy to put together. Despite how long my cat ends up playing with them, I would definately recommend this to cat owners, especially indoor cats who need additional toys to keep them busy. It is clear this company puts a lot of time into there toys. They make high quality item, and have a great understanding of cat senses & interaction. I only go these toys today, so I expect my cat to increase playtime the more he is around the toys.I took the Play Circuit out of the box, it was very easy to put together (only took about 30 seconds). My biggest decision was which way to setup the track. I chose 1 long wave. He immediately ran over and started pushing the ball. Once he realized he could control it, he was so excited. But I was so excited to see him run up to the toy, interact with it and get excited.The Cat Massager was also easy to assemble. Only 1 peice to snap in the middle, and insert catnip for added kitty enjoyment. There is also a rubbermat that surround it so it doesnt go sliding. My cat attacked the center peice, which had catnip and a gum stimulator. At first I thought he was going nuts for the catnip (which may have helped) but then I saw him chewing on the gum stimulator and realized he was loving it. He spent the most time on this then anything yet. I tried to get him to use the massager part, but he was too busy chewing. I am sure with time he will figure that out. This is the cutest item, and I love that it can be connected to the Play Circuit.I intend to add to this collection of Hagen products.

I thought this product might help keep the cats off my lap when I'm trying to do homework or entertain them when I'm not home. Having three cats trying to get into one lap, never works out well for me. Two of my cats are already playing with it. The only problem I have now, is that I might have to get one or two more, because they like it so much that they're staging kitty wars over it. The instructions included were not very useful, but it was easy enough to put together, so it didn't really matter. It doesn't take up that much room, and I knew how big it was before I bought it (thanks to the cat on the picture). It's not the manufacturer's fault that they like it so much that they're fighting over it, and I only just set it up.Love at first sight, turned to apathy...Update- OK, I started out loving this product and so did my cats. But now, I'm really glad that I waited before I bought any more. After the novelty wore off(only took a few days... hmph! cats...)they stopped being interested and are now back to kitty lap wars. They pay it some attention when I put new catnip in the top, but honestly, they'd be interested in the dog for a little while if I covered him in catnip. I haven't needed to replace the gum massager yet(which I bought replacements for) and it doesn't look like I will anytime soon. It might work for other cats, but... there are much cheaper catnip toys at the store. I had to lower my review, because this product came in with a bang but just didn't deliver.

My cat had real fun with it

First, let me say this item is poorly made and the way manufacturer packages it further damages the product.The item comes in three parts - the upper most section, the white section with the bristles which in this reviewers opinion, are too hard and have some rough edges, and the gray mat area below the white section.Upon opening the box the gray mat section was folded over several times causing creases in the mat which after several days are still there. The mat has a grove that appears to be for the base of the white section to attach into - this does not happen and in the case of the particular item I received the "goove" in the mat is actually larger around then the base of the white unit. So, basically it ended up that the mat is about 1/2 inch further out then the base of the white unit.Regarding actual cat use - the unit is smaller than it appears in the catalog page image with the bottom of the white section measuring only approx 8.5 inches across. Size wise I would say not for large breed cats such as the Maine Coon.I have 2 Maine Coon Cats and both have completely ignored the toy - I have even tried putting high end catnip on the toy that cats go absolutely crazy for - on this toy even that couldn't get their interest.To this reviewer there doesn't seem to be much difference between this toy and 2 dollar tree plastic bristle brushes glued to the bottom of a rubbermaid bowl.

Helaas was binnen een dag de bovenste kop al kapot gekauwd. Durf het eigenlijk niet meer neer te zetten, omdat ik bang ben dat er plastic los komt. Het is overigens kapot gekauwd door een kat van nog geen jaar. Kan hem helaas niet terug sturen omdat ik de doos al weggegooid heb. Ik las zulke goede recensies. Maar helaas geb ik een andere ervaring. Hoop dat de fabrikant dit te lezen krijgt en het product verbeterd. Ben normaal niet van de recencies, maar dit vind ik gevaarlijk.

My cats dont really use it but the quality is there! I guess it depends on the cats personnality!

Realmente muito bom, demora para o gato entender como usar, mas depois os gatos adoram.

Concordo con chi ha recensito positivamente l'articolo: il mio micione lo ha decisamente gradito, a dispetto di altri giochini evidentemente troppo dinamici per la sua non più tenera età. Ci ha messo meno tempo lui a strofinarcisi sopra che io ad assemblarlo.Spedizione veloce, e prezzo assolutamente concorrenziale rispetto ai negozi per animali.
