Reef Stacker Dry Rock, Complete Aquascaping Kit for Saltwater Aquariums, 25 lbs.

Setting up my first saltwater tank and I wanted to start with a sterile system so I went with dry rock. I'm trying to do it on a budget too, and this seemed like the best value for the price. I was very happy with the amount of rock I received, as well as the various sizes. 3 large pieces good for a base, and 4 medium pieces good for stacking on top of that, and then 4 small pieces that went on top of that or are good for islands. I'm setting up the 32 gallon Coralife Biocube and this order was enough to create a nice arrangement that reached 2/3 to the top of the tank. I didn't want any taller than that so the corals I plan to get have room to grow. I could have stacked it taller, but wanted a nice sloping base with more surface area for coral.I did not know for every pound of rock you buy from ARC they will place new reef material in a man made reef off the coast of Florida! Made this purchase worth it even more. Will definitely buy from them again.

If you are in the market for reputable aquacultured dry rock, this is the place to go. Rock arrived individually wrapped and my individual order (25lbs) came with various sizes from the largest at 9 1/2 x 8 down to 4 x 3 1/2 (I think this was a bonus piece). Also note that I did not specify any particular size requests so this is an example of what they send. The rock comes very clean and was ever so slightly damp, I'm guessing from their steam cleaning process. Also included in the box was literature with instructions that would be helpful to anyone who might not be familiar with aquacultured dry rock. They note that curing is not needed for this rock, so that is always a bonus. This is my second purchase from ARC and I have been pleasantly surprised by their high level of customer care. If all of that wasn't convincing, the fact that for every pound of aquacultured rock purchased, 10 lbs will be planted off the coast of Miami.

Wow! Just got home to find my box-o-rocks from ARC, on time as promised. If anything the advertised pic is understated for what the rock I received actually looks like in terms of porosity and number of nooks and crannies to be inhabited. Very interesting look. Don't know if my pic is much better, but this is one of the large pieces I received. Its going to be a coral ranch soon. I'm getting back into reefing after a hiatus and ARC has delivered a good start. The 25lb order was divided into pieces from a large ~10# piece to smaller pieces that wasn't a random assemblage, but something that you can actually work with to start your aquascape. I can't wait for the live rock from ARC that I am going to add to this dry rock base. Plus, a great ethic with this company to boot. Very satisfied, highly recommended.

I ordered 25lbs of rock and it was the perfect addition to my tank. I was able to make two symmetrical structures on both sides of my 55-gallon tank and I couldn't be happier. Thanks ARC.

Added to aquarium for newly acquired banded coral shrimp. Rocks came all individually bubble wrapped, clean, only a little bit of dust. Would highly recommend, especially since they add 10x what you purchase to flordia's coastline creating a new reef

Not quite like real (dead) live rock. BUT mixed in with a tank full of the real stuff, it all goes together perfectly. I actually used it under the real as a base to lift up the real (dead) live rock. Very happy with my purchase.
