I’ve purchased a few other huk shirts without the hood but future purchases will be with the hood. You never know when you need the hood because of sun or rain. It’s always nice to have.Fits like most huk shirts

I wish the hood had drawstrings, so that I could wear it over a hat (as I do with some sun hoodies). Without drawstrings, it would blow off while I'm paddling. I could wear it under a hat (which I do with other sun hoodies that don't have drawstrings), but there's too much material in the hood on this shirt to do that.
