FiiO DK1 Plug and Play Micro USB Universal Docking Station

Looks good and works great as a link between my Fiio DAP and my computer or main system.

Works for what I need. I just need to make sure I push it down firmly, because it needs to flash on the screen as connected else it doesn't do anything.

I bought this dock for my Fiio X1 and it is just awesome!I thought it's gonna mainly be to keep the X1 in a stable place, but it is really convenient to have it charge and play both through the USB connection only so it is easy to remove and put back with one single connection.

Just got it a few minutes ago and plugged in my X3II. No sound!It charges ok but the audio jack is not functional. Back it goes.Update: Turns out the issue was the player firmware. Updated to 2.0 and all is well.

Just received the DK1 today, updated firmware on two of my X1s, plugged it in..... Does not charge unit, no line out. Unit is dead. Problem with returning it, as all things from Amazon, UPS office is 80 miles away, one way, with the cost of gas on the Big Island makes it very expensive to return, nearly triple the price of the product. Guess I just got a faulty unit.

I purchased this for the following reasons: I wanted a dock to charge my FiiO X3 GEN 2, I knew it had a line out (thus I could play music via an external source such as my receiver), it looks nice.The good: it looks nice... that's about it.The bad: there is a line out, but it's only for 3.5m aux plug, not the coax digital that came with my FiiO X3. The dock will not pass a coax digital signal. It doesn't charge very well. The manual says it only trickles a charge out and the manual encourages the user to plug it directly into a power source and not rely on the dock for a charge.It is useful as a dock to connect to your computer. Other than that, I'm not sure if it's worth it. But this dock is the only game in town so far if you have a FiiO.I'm going to keep it and hope that in the future FiiO will come out with a better dock.

Wow, I paid $29 for a piece of plastic - feels VERY CHEAP! I am a HUGE fan of FiiO but this purchase is extremely disappointing. Aside from the super cheap plastic feel, it doesn't even come with a true power cord, simply a usb wire. So...if you connect it to your computer, every time you dock your FiiO it will connect to the computer and you will have to eject. I have a wall charger adapter however and used that (one of the previous reviewers had it wrong), so you can use an adapter for the wall charger, however the cord they provide isn't very long. Given that the new FiiO unit I bought was only $99, spending $30 on this docking station seems kind of silly. I have the X1 and the X5 so at least all of them will work with this dock, just really expected more of this dock station given the price.

J'ai hésité à le prendre parce que j'ai vu un commentaire qui disait que le dock n'était pas compatible avec le X5 III.Chez moi ça marche sans problème... Peut-être une histoire de firmware? J'utilise la dernière version et il n'y a pas eu de problème.

Connecting the player is a bit tricky. Crude.

Ich habe mir die Dockingstation als Ergänzung zu meinem FiiO X1 (1. Gen) gekauft um den Player an mein Bose Soundtouch 30 anzuschließen. Das geht natürlich auch ohne das Dock, aber mit sieht's einfach schöner aus ;-)Der Klang dieser Kombination ist super und an dem Dock gibt es nicht's zu bemängeln. Funktioniert auf Anhieb und sieht gut und wertig aus.Das das Dock am Strom angeschlossen sein muß und damit automatisch immer der Akku geladen wird ist eigentlich logisch, da der Player ohne Strom auf dem USB-Stecker ja nicht weiß, dass er im Dock steht und somit die Standard-Aux/-Kopfhörerbuchse als Ausgang bespielen würde.Lobenswert finde ich auch, dass es von FiiO überhaupt noch so ein Zubehörteil für einen bereits älteren Player gibt, bzw. das das Dock so entwickelt wurde, dass es an alle FiiO-Player passt. Das würde nicht jeder Hersteller so machen. Top.Insgesamt ein sehr guter erster Eindruck!
