For this size strap, I've never seen hooks and ratchets that are this heavy duty and thick. They are also coated in very thick rubber to minimize scuffing and scratching which is really nice. I've seen ratchets this big and thick on much wider ratchet straps and these. Why is this a good thing? Well cranking the ratchets is nice with these big thick handles but where it really helps is breaking the connection. I've had small ratchets that are not coated and plastic and are metal and the connection lever is hard to press and break the connection when you want to loosen the ratchets. These ratchets are easy to ratchet up and to break the connection with because of the extra thick hardware. Everything fits nicely in the storage bag that is provided. The load rating on these are perfect for the type of jobs I will be using them on. These ratchet straps are very well constructed and I totally recommend them.

I purchased this to use with hauling my kayak in my pick up truck. They are 10x better than the straps I had before. They are overkill for a kayak. These straps are made to handle heavy loads. One of the best features is the molded on handles. They don't appear like they will ever come off. I had a cheap set that self destructed after a few uses. These are heavy duty. Excellent for heavy and bulky loads. They are easy to use and come with extentions. Also, the hooks have keepers on them so they won't fall off as some hooks are prone to do.

Before I tried the straps, I was little skeptical about how strong the straps would be and how to use them.After I tried it, I was very impressed of how easy it was to put on the straps. They are very strong and durable. When I bought my dinning table, I used the straps to secure the box to the top of my van. It's also very easy to take off. It comes with a bag to store all the straps.

Great quality, and seems pretty durable - you just have to check that the ribbon is aligned at all times, so that the gears don't have friction with the ribbon. Works perfectly. Sometimes it is difficult to release the ribbon when unloading.

Tying down my kayak in the bed of my truck, securing loads in my utility trailer, tying down my motorcycle in the trailer. I have bought dozens of straps from "Big Box" and "Discount" stores in the past and they all have a common quality, they are very cheap. easily break, thin and subpar material, etc. These straps are top notch! Thick, durable, high viz, protected and well made! Even though this is a set of 4, I am considering another set since I am using 2 of the straps to keep my kayak secured in the shed.

These straps are great for securing cargo. The ratchet strap allows you to apply extra force and get some good tension on the straps. I like how the hooks have clips on them so they don’t fall off and the strap itself is very long and can be used for a variety of applications. It also comes with a travel bag which is nice for storing them in your car.

Photos in description are accurate on what you will receive. I bought this to secure a Cooler and Recovery gear box inside my FJ Cruiser from shifting while off roading and in emergency Braking situations. I should be fine. But the webbing is thinner than other 1" webbing I own and not tubular. The Ratchet is 1.6" so description is a rather misleading, depending on how you read the small print. Webbing is 1" x 15'. I have my doubts as to the 1900lbs rating, maybe 450lbs each x 4 straps? For Light duty Tie Downs, this will be fine. But I would not use this to tie down my 900lb Harley in a trailer

I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them. He immediately put them to use and said they are the perfect size for his pick up. I have to say these are much more durable than the previous ratchet straps we’ve been using to secure loads to the dump and runs to the home improvement store. I was surprised to see how heavy duty these are. We’ve used the straps multiple times for home improvement projects and loading stuff up on boat trips. I wish I found these sooner. They’re a must buy.
